Capítulo 77: Carnal Desire

Rex brought Aisling to the topmost part of the tower. The library was intact just as he left it, but it was clean. He could sense the remains of Dahlia's power. He frowned, but he did not intend to punish. He had allowed her into the tower, and the library looked presentable enough for Aisling. 

He concealed his wings and looked at her. 

He did not know his thoughts clearly, but he felt like there was something in his chest, weighing down on him. He knew that he did not want Aisling looking at the python's daughter like she had. The feeling was not just jealousy. 

If it were to be accurately described, it would be a desire to monopolise everything, even her gaze. 

He felt embarrassed, but the feeling did not disappear. He had heard about the irrationality that people experienced due to Soul Resonance, but he did not expect to feel it. And over such a meaningless thing…

"Why are you angry?" Aisling looked up at Abaddon.
