Dee Dee da Dee Dee de doh Dee dada Dede doh! I reached for the scroll again "what the hell do you want?" I asked to this sengoku guy. Instead I got heavy breathing followed by "update? Don't drop! Harem tag!??!"
I just shut the scroll and blocked the number, I don't know what that thing was but it was annoying. The others were looking up at something while ruby explained things bombastically.
"So we hopped on the giant nevermore and wanted to yank its feathers to guide us towards the relic! But the darn thing just flew up and began barrel rolling! So Weiss froze herself onto it while I fell, my teammate hates me!?!?."
She exclaimed while waving her hands around in an exaggerated manner. Lie Ren raised an eyebrow before saying "maybe she just couldn't survive the fall?"
Nora just nodded enthusiastically "yeah she looked weak so that's probably the case". From the air we could hear her scream "hey!" Aww she's offended.
Yang spoke up "so how will we get her down?" But blake furrowed her brows and muttered "should we even?"
Ruby turned to her sister "Weiss could jump and you could catch her!"
"Nah that's a bad idea little sis, my semblance would be able to tank the force from her falling on me but her body might not be able to. I think we should wait until the nevermore lowers down to attack one of us. So..... who wants to shoot it?"
Pyrrha raises her hand "well from all of us here I think only Jaune could make that shot without potentially hitting Weiss".
But the others questioned her about that, my hand cannon would never be able to reach that height and throwing my shield would do nothing as it would be blown away by the wind.
Ruby pouted "I have the sniper rifle so I could make the shot, Jaune doesn't have the equipment for it and I'm not lending mine!" She said while protectively hugging her gun.
I sighed and walked forwards pulling Atreus off my back. I heard some mumbles from some of the group members that have a faint recollection about my shield until Yangs eyes snapped open.
"Wait are you that Jaune Arc! The guy they called the spartan because of his fighting style and strict training regime?!? I even tried it when I was younger and couldn't move for days!"
Whe ranted, when Yang watched Jaune fight all those years ago she was inspired. He would beat people down with pure power and artistic technique. Plus they were both blonde so she felt a connection. Ruby finally remembered about the shield, she always wanted to figure out why it was so... weird? It bounced off everything and was shock absorbent to sound waves!!! That's something any weapon fanatic would dream about.
Ren and Nora recognises Jaune because they are also from Mistral. Blake's eyes shone as she remembered watching him fight Fenrir Foul who was well recognised within the white fang until his beat down under Jaune. After that Adam stopped paying attention to him as he lost to a human.
As Jaune walked forward he pushed a button hidden under the straps of Atreus which made a clicking noise. The sound of a gear turning rapidly echoed out in the forest as the shield split into two pieces.
The strap that he would normally hold the shield by also under went a transformation as it divided and began to be fastened into the bow strings. Atreus swapped from a shield into a compound bow with the metallic shield parts acting as a covering over the complexities of the bow.
The shield bow was based off the shield bow from VRMMORPG Ossan.
Jaune then reached for his shoulder and pulled out a metal strip before infusing aura into it. The strip then elongated into an arrow which he knocked and began to pull back. *grrrrtch* the Noise of the bow string being strained drew everyone's eyes to the sight. The teachers were watching from the cliff side with Ozpin focusing a little more intently. It's not everyday that someone uses the classic weapons over a gun. He reminisced about several archers he had met in his life.
Ruby had glistening eyes as she watched Jaune aim the knocked bow upwards towards the nevermore. Weiss who was atop the bird began to sweat as she felt a sense of danger from the bow.
Ren and yang noticed a small golden aura fluctuation centre around Jaunes eyes and limbs. They analysed that his semblance must be an enhancement type. The aura In his legs to maintain balance and possibly to prevent knockback for when he release the bow.
The arms to pull the string which seems to be Incredibly taut so it shows that he is putting in a fair amount of strength. The aura in the eyes is probably to enhance his eyesight to make his shot.
Jaune ignored their machinations as he focused on his past experiences. He had spent years practising archery in this life and remembered caps experience with it. Steve had seen Clint Barton I'm action personally and had frequently asked the man about his combat style. Those tips helped shape Jaunes own archery style.
*inhale* Jaune released his grip on the string once he felt he was ready. The arrow rocketed off towards the nevermore at breakneck speeds. The others watched as the arrow curved around and swiftly entered the eye of the giant nevermore causing it to screech and finally shake Weiss off.
Weiss panicked as she was flung off, was she going to die?!?! Not on Jaunes watch! He liz hands blurred as he pulled a Celeste strip of metal from his shoulder. He rapidly pulled and fired the arrow which zoned in on Weiss position.
The others thought Jaune was going to impale Weiss next. *boom krasssshk* before the arrow could impact her it detonated and then began to freeze the air around it rapidly. Weiss watched as an ice platform presented itself for her.
She hopped onto it and pulled her Myrtenaster from her hip. She slammed it down onto the ice platform as her weapons hilt began to revolve. It stopped on a similarly coloured compartment to Jaunes ice arrows.
Weiss then began to create an ice slide from the platform which she slid down on rapidly. Good thing she knew how to ski, what she was doing was the equivalent of diving head first down Corbet's Couloir!
Like an icy angel she descended from the heavens towards the relic location. She smirked at the others awe filled impressions only to notice that Pyrrha and Jaune were smirking back at her. As she pondered why she heard a * click click click * noise and then looked at her weapon. She ran out of dust?!?!
Weiss ran out of platform so began to fall again only this time it was at a height that she could easily survive from. It didn't stop ruby from panicking and then rushing towards her at super speeds in a futile attempt to catch her.
As ruby jumped at her to catch her she watched as Jaune pulled another arrow and fired at them. The arrow swiftly caught upto ruby and then detonated into what appeared to be a net.
The net encapsulated both Ruby and Weiss before tying them into a nearby tree in a rather awkward position. Ruby was currently stuck with her head in between Weiss combat skirt! This caused her sister to break out laughing and begin filming the entire thing. Blake had a sinister glint as she recorded a schnee broadcasting her sexual promiscuity in broad daylight.
The future team JNPR just laughed their hearts out watching the scene. Pyrrha began to walk towards them to get them down while stifling her giggles. Those shots were perfect! Jaune was really on point today. First his god shot and then this!
