Capítulo 48: Chapter 48: Surprises

Alaric POV

Raven and I yank on some clothes as quickly as possible and run downstairs and out the door to find complete and utter chaos unfolding before us. Hundreds of rogue wolves were running everywhere, some already shifted and some not. The ones that were not had large burning sticks in their hands and were setting fire to everything they could. Smoke was billowing from the direction of the town and pack members were screaming and running towards us.

Rogue wolves were trying to cut them off and were attacking them left and right in brutal numbers. I see Raven run back into the house and come back out with a small object in her hand. She whispers something into it and opens her hands to let it fly away.

“I sent a message to the witches to come right away and help us!” she shouts over the growling and screaming. Then she begins to swirl and move her fingers in a pattern while muttering more incoherent phrases and a magical force field starts to circle in the sky.
