She’d been running for hours, resting when she needed. Her old territory wasn’t too far from the council, just a full day’s travelling with wolf speed. Since she wasn’t an Alpha, she couldn’t go that long without resting. So she’d had to take breaks, often.

She was on a straight path home, so she didn’t have much else to do, except walk. And think.

She was going to her home, where Phillip had left her and would possibly come back for her.

But Elizabeth truly wasn’t thinking of herself or Phillip any longer. When she left, she had only been thinking of James.

An Alpha and Luna were supposed to be true to each other. And normally, they were. Because they were soul bonded. James and Katrina obviously weren’t. But they were choosing to marry in spite of this, for the safety and protection of both of their packs.
