Capítulo 104: River of Despair (Part Two )

He was drowning. Pain spread through his veins like hot water. He could not even tell the temperature, he just knew that he was submerged in a tub of corrosive liquid.

It was slowly peeling everything that was him. He could smell something. Something bitter and Ashy. Like something was burning. 

Wasn't he inside the water? Where was he?

It hurts! It hurts so much.

Lyle choked on a sob. He had nothing, no one anymore.

Was he in the dungeon? Back there, it was so cold and lonely in the dungeon. So empty there.

Lash!

A whip slashed at his back causing Lyle to grit his teeth in pain. He was eight years old again and was being punished for disrespect and insubordination. The penalty was twenty strokes of the whip.

"Thirteen!" Lyle counted again as the servant lashed the whip strongly against his back.

It hurts! It hurt too much!

"Father!" "Father!" Lyle screamed but nobody came.
