Champion and Mary traced their steps back. Then, they followed the trail of dead hostiles Korede and Fatima left for them to follow.

They turned a corner when they suddenly encountered two people.

And they weren't Korede and Fatima.

Both sides aimed at each other, before sighing in relief after identifying themselves.

"Where are the others?" Abdul-Lateef asked.

"We split up. We went to go shut down the acoustic weapon while they went on ahead. Team leader was worried about something." Champion said as they moved.

"We just have to follow the trail of corpses, right?" Temitope said.

The couple nodded.

"Be advised. Elevator's a burst. We're taking the stairs down to the first sublevel." Korede's voice sounded on Comms.
