CH251: DROP THE ACT

"Damocles' sword is now used to signify an impending doom on a king or a leader."

"Exactly," The prince nodded.

He continued, "My uncle never wanted the throne. He used to say there was a Damocles' sword hanging over it. He never went anywhere near it. Contrary to what people think, grandfather didn't pass the throne over him, rather he was the one who turned it down to my father. He didn't even want to be the Regent. It was the royal court that convinced him to do it. If it wasn't for his reluctance, he would be King, not a Regent. It was to the extent that he trained me to the best of his ability on what it meant to be King so that i could take the throne from him as soon as possible.
