Capítulo 144: Rumours

"Ace! You're ok!" River shouted, sitting on top of the red-haired boy while he lay on the ground, staring blankly up at him. His wings behind his sprawled all around the floor, getting stuck on some of the bedposts. 

"Of course I am ok." He said a little indignant. "Do you have such little fate in me to remain alive?" 

"Not at all. It's just been a while since I saw you and I grew worried as the hours passed by." River said, getting off Ace as he helped him to his feet. "How did it go? I heard you were purging the forest."

"Yeah, purging the forest and then we were suddenly attacked." Ace said, dusting himself off as he looked at the room filled with beds, every one of them occupied by injured people. "Never mind that. How is everyone here?" 

"They are mostly ok." River said, frowning slightly before turning to the boy. "Ace, do you have any of those healing potions still?" 

"I might." Ace said, narrowing his eyes at the boy. "Why?"
