The two followed after Sofiel out of the room and the wooden palace, quickly reaching the backyard where a huge garden waited for them. However, in contrast to a usual garden filled with flowers and trees, here one could see coffins placed everywhere in a circular manner.

"The hell happened here?" Khal's brow immediately furrowed with confusion, his gaze shifted to Sofiel on his side.

'A ritual.' Cal nodded secretly, Alta's image popping up in his head, "So it seems Alta was increasing her Blessing, huh?"

Upon hearing his words, Sofiel although surprised still nodded and explained, "Yes, Alta asked for my permission if she could use dead bodies here and use their corpses to boost her Blessing's power before she decides to fuse it into her Semi-Domain."
