The first thing Jasmine did when she arrived at the mansion was plan out her survival during her mission. It seemed a bit too early to think about that when she was yet to even receive the details about what she would be doing but she didn't put it past Scarlet to plan her murder in this kind of way. If she failed and ended up dead, it would he her fault for being incompetent.

It wouldn't help to practice her combat skills since she would probably not be able to counter whatever she was going to face anyways, so she could only ensure she had a sure way to safety if worse came to worst. If her life was on the line, she was not going to brave it out in the name of dying a warrior. Of course she would bolt away! Coward or not, she needed her life if she was going to get back at Scarlet.

"I don't know why I care about this in first place." She sighed, indulging in a monologue. "It's not about revenge. It's just self defense. Yeah, that's what it is." She muttered.
