She knew that he was merely finding excuses to stick beside her as she worked her way through the outfits, but when she looked at him, the word at the tip of her tongue stopped when she met his gaze. His eyes looked deeper and sparkled slightly in a way that made her hesitate. As much as she didn't want to admit it, they were captivating. Too damn captivating for her—or whoever was looking at them. There was no way she could say no under those eyes.
"Help me take Sinos' measurements. I didn't keep the record after the last time." The words rolled off her tongue before she could stop them and she gave an errand she could do on her own, and wouldn't even cost her an extra minute.
"Right away." He quickly and seriously got into his role and took the god's measurements, noted them down and took them to her new working station.
"Here." He placed the paper on her desk.
She muttered thanks and got back to work.
