~~~(POV: Nathen Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Temple/Pyramid, Northern Pole, Dagobah)~~~
The scene plays out as she's sealed by the great machines created by The Mortis Gods. She didn't resist once the three landed on the world. From what I can sense in this... Memory... Everyone is already dead.
"As much as I cared for the people of Dagobah... The Son and Daughter are like my children... I care for them deeply... And I couldn't fight them... Not like this... The Father... I hold an old fondness for him... But not a love that I hold for Son and Daughter..."
The scene changes to an overview of a world I've never seen before. Not from this perspective. But it's one I've sensed. It's unbelievably powerful in The Force, and it's the place where Abeloth is sealed.
I know this cause I've been here before... The Caves Of Ilum. This is where I was taken when I first met Abeloth. This is what it looks like from here. It's a paradise from the looks of it.
"This is where I was taken by the machines they built, and it was a world protected within The Maw. An area of the galaxy that can't be traversed with a ship or The Force. Not without certain circumstances."
The first time she escaped. It must've been because the circumstances were right. After a blink of my eyes, I'm standing in the old chamber and looking at the statue.
"What do you want from me? To help free you? Defeat The Mortis Gods?"
There are a lot of questions I have for Abeloth. None of them can be answered, this much I know. But there isn't anything wrong with asking them. Maybe I'll get lucky.
"Head for Dantooine. There is something there that'll help you. This is all I can spare to reach you now, Amor. Please, come to me. I want to look at you with my own eyes."
She doesn't know how familiar those words are to me regarding Star Wars. I await a continuation, but the heavy energy and power leave the pyramid. Nella slowly stirs awake since the overwhelming pressure is gone now.
"Ugh... What happened..."
I reach out for Nella and help her up from the ground.
"Nothing that you need to worry about. Let's get out of here. The next place we're heading is Dantooine. And yes, when we get there, we'll find out how much the haul we picked up on Dagobah is worth."
The tragedy of Dawnrider should be known to all. But I doubt anyone will care for the story of the crew that carried these artifacts. Greed does that to people.

~~~(Location: Hyperspace, Training Room)~~~
"FARK!!"
My frustration gets to me as Nate throws me across the room again with a brilliant parry. I've gained very little ground in my training. Whenever we finish with drills and study of forms, he allows around 30 minutes of free sparring against him.
His grin doesn't do anything to help what I'm feeling right now. Time's almost up for today, and I don't know if I'll ever see a day I land a significant hit on Nate.
"You know, I was the same with Satele. She would toss and humble me every time we sparred. It was difficult to overcome the doubts in my head at the time. But I was young, and she was the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order."
His words bring little comfort. He's a better fighter than she is now, and I'm stuck trying to make ground against someone better than Satele when he was my age.
"C'mon, there has to be some trick you can teach me to help gain power."
He deactivates his lightsaber and twirls it in his fingers. A slightly confident smirk on his features.
"Sure, shortcuts exist. But what's something I taught you about shortcuts?"
One of the first lessons I learned.
"The Darkside will grant great power in a short time..."
He raises his eyebrow at my half-answer.
"And?"
A sigh escapes my lips.
"It comes at an even greater personal cost for that power."
A calm smile appears on his lips, and he walks over to me. Holding out his hand to help me up. I take it, and he pulls me up.
"Don't worry, Nella. I'll start teaching you about all aspects of The Force. But we're waiting until you have a strong foundation in The Force itself. You're not like me. No one is."
He's right about that. He's unaffected by The Light or Darkside of The Force. One of the things that make him unique.
We'll reach Dantooine in a few days, so it's just training for now.
