The truck carrying Jack, Taro Suzuki, Alan Bodniev, Ives Richart and Khulan was at full speed on the flat, unobstructed steppe, while the riders led by Orghana and Altan galloped alongside, trying not to be left behind. All were urged to reach the village of the tribe led by Temük Khan in time to participate in the events that took place there. All were convinced that these events would be dramatic due to the power of the sides that would face each other and the fierceness in the fight that characterizes the Mongol warriors.
The morning passed full of tension for the travelers; the arrival of afternoon did not bring relief and they all knew that the night would not give rest to them, nor to the horses, so Altan and Khulan pondered the downsides of arriving on a battlefield with exhausted men and beasts.
