Capítulo 4: Complete Roger Pirates
Year 1491, one year has passed since i beated the rear admiral. And in the length of 1 year my strength boosted into a vice admiral level.
Were currently on one of the unhibitant island.
Why were here you ask?
Because captain was currently fighting a person at a teen boy one years old than me. Rather than calling it a fight, i rather called it a beating as roger attack keep hitting the teen boy but he cant counter attack or do anything.
And the name of the teen boy im taking about is The 'Demon's heir' Douglas Barret.
He challenge the captain to which the captain agreed nonchalantly like it was nothing at all so we are here in this situation.
The beating ended in 30 minutes as barrett passed out which is pretty good enough. Barrett is very strong you know, he is already at the level of an rear admiral but he challenge a monster after all.
And just like in canon, roger invited barrett and barrett agreed making a promise that he will leave after he defeated roger to which roger just laugh and didnt take it to heart.
After the recruitment we return to our voyage, to which is not very peaceful as after barrett heard that he is the weakest in the boat and that im stronger than him, he challenge me but lost.
"I would win next time, i swore that!" He shouted at me then walked in the training room and trained hard.
I didnt take what he said to heart but i tried to befriend him now that he still has a little immature mind.
Which has a great success because in just 6 months he treats me as a bestfriend maybe because of my wish and maybe conqueror haki.
But in the whole half year i not only befriend barrett but also spar with him every once in a while which boost our strength.
We are currently travelling in south blue and our next destination was west blue.
"Jack, fight with me" barrett said to me.
To which i agree nonchalantly as he did this every week.
After seeing me agree he didnt waste anytime and rush at me with a motion of preparing for a punch with an armament haki wrap in his fist.
All of his movements are seen by me using Observation haki, so i dock and hold the hilt of my sword and slash at him.
He was late to react and all he could do was cover his body with haki but still got an injury and send him flying.
After stabilizing his stance, he rush again sending a kick this time to which i just block with my sword and try sending a kick using my left foot in his guts but was block, he hold my left foot and throw me in the air to which i used as a momentum and use one of my techniques.

That caused many small cuts in his whole body and a big cut in his body.
facing his back, with my sword in his neck.
"I won" i said to him with a calm voice.
He turned back and look at my sword then me with a look of admiration.
"I will next time!" He said then turn back and goes to the doctor's room.
Year 1942, six months has passed since my fight with barrett and day by day his admiration for me also gets higher to the point where it can match his admiration for roger. My position in the roger pirates also gets up to a regular crew and no longer a trainee.
Currently were on one of the habitant island in llusia kingdom, a country in west blue.
This island has nothing special than its rum but suddenly roger brings a news that shocked everyone.
"Everyone come here fast" roger yelled in the boat as were about to sail again and go to the grandline.
After everyone gather, no one has said anything and just look at roger who was just grinning.
"Everyone we have new members!" He shouted
"And not just one but two, come here young boys" he said and shouted at the dock.
To everyones' surprise they saw was not a middle age man but a two 10 years old boy. One has red hair and one has red nose.
"Hey roger, whats this are you gonna dump this on me again?" The first one to speak was rayleigh as he knew he was the one responsible for the newbies.
"HAAHAHA of course rayleigh, your good at teaching after all." He said nonchalantly
rayleigh didnt reply any longer and just rolled his eye.
The other members was also speechless but they didnt dare to reject as they knew they cant no longer change it.
I was also looking at them with interest, mainly shanks as he has high potential for a crew but i wouldn't recruit him but just befriend.
While barrett didnt care at all and just continue training.
"Oy jack say hello to the trainee" rayleigh said to me while teaching the newbies.
I come closer to them and extend my hand for a handshake. The red hair was the first and the red nose comes second.
"Hello my name is Grace D. Jack, a regular crew member." I said to them
"Hi my name is shanks , and i would became a great pirate one day!" The red hair was the first to introduced himself.
"My name is buggy, i would get all the treasure in the world and dont laugh at my nose." The red nose or should i call buggy comes next.
After a little bit more of introducing, i also introduce the other members and tour them in the ship, and help them adjust as a senior, this is my job.
After touring i gave them to rayleigh to practice and called barrett for a spar.
Barrett strength now couldnt be understimated, even if he lost to me he is now also a vice admiral level powerhouse and has a bounty of 120,000,000 beli which is already big at rogers era.he keeps bragging at me as my bounty was only 75,000,000 beli but i knew i was because of my parents making it low.
While i already is at the senior of vice admiral level and could kill one if necessary, im also at the peak at swordsman but still far from reaching the next stage. My haki can has a range of 5 km and the the special effect which makes everything i saw in my range slower now is 30x. My haki can also cover all part of my body now and i could add my conqueror to any attack i do.
