"Okay," the half-demon clapped her hands together as she sat down in front of Keiko. "I fucked her brains out last night." 

"Um, good job," Keiko said with a chuckle. 

"What do we do now?" Ash asked as she and the shorter girl sat on their own in the Savior House's living room. 

Kaori had exited the place with Metsumi, Opah, and Luvine earlier to go take a walk around the city. Ash suspected it was just her way of trying to get the woman's mind off of her husband's death. Kaori did tend to be kind like that. It presented Ash and Keiko with an opportunity to continue discussing ways to make sure Kaori didn't jump off the highest roof she could find in hopes of stopping this war. 

"Not gonna lie," Ash continued to say, "that was sort of the best idea I had, so I'm kind of at a loss now. I mean, sure, I could do it again tonight but, maybe something else would be good too."
