Without Kaori around, things pretty much regressed back to how they were in Amber. Ash woke up, took a quick shower, had breakfast with the rest of the group, and then there was nothing to do but train. Sure, during the short moments of rest as Sinneah took Yumi on, Ash was allowed to hold Keiko close to her as she rested her head on her shoulders, or managed to even sneak a kiss in here and there. Generally, however, there was nothing to do but let the clanging of blades distract her until her missing girlfriend returned from her mission. 

On the bright side, Ash's proficiencies had all gone up considerably. Currently, her sword and gauntlet proficiencies had both just reached 7, her bow lagged just a little bit behind it at 6, and her spear was at the same point. Most impressive, however, was the proficiency she'd attained with Tomoe's Divine Arts.
