In the darkest hour the slightest glimmer of light brings a lot of hope to people. Despite the situation one sees themselves in that light will always bring about relief.
Signs of sunlight arrived as the day was about to begin, many would have felt relieved but yet , black Fireballs, blue icicles, red Fireballs, silver lightning, Light balls, and Swordbeams of various colors flew in every direction possible. A few lucky ones evaded in the nick of time, but a few weren't so lucky and was caught and burnt to ash by the Demonic flames.
The death count on both sides were insurmountable, yet it brought about a smile on Bloodbath's face. It didn't matter to the demons if any of their comrade died, besides they will just be sent to hell to be reborn from ashes. Even the demons controlling those Demonically Possessed will also be sent back to hell for rebirth. Every captain, Commander and Great Commanders were all thrilled at their bosses handiwork like a dog with two tails.

"I need to head back... Urgh, but that will be after I've patched myself up a little more." Ben's gruntled voice came from a broken boulder at the very far end of the battlefield. Of course no other person was around. It would take him awhile before he gets back to the main battlefield where his strength can be put to good use.
Still doesn't mean he'll die for nothing! He isn't a saint after all.
Ben's concentrations continuously broke when he tried channeling his Light magic to heal his thrashed body. That was of course because of the pain he kept feeling all over his body. With the magic healing up his outer wounds he popped open a bottle of Consumable Lotion and downed the whole container at once.
Ben knew that magic could do wonders, but he knew that magic can't bring the body back to how it originally was, that is something potions stand up for. Ben, however, didn't have to worry about any of that. Every spell or potion works on full effect on Ben's body, but that is his potions by the way.
Healing the body wasn't hard with the help of spells or potions, but the fatigue that comes with it cannot be cleansed that easily. Popping another bottle with yellow goo in it, Ben drank it all like the Consumable Lotion. and in seconds Ben's tired face was once again rejuvenated. This was one more potion Lucy introduced to him.
Asides the missing arm and bloodied body and hair Ben looked as good as new. after looking at the now stained glove Ben sent his will to the glove trying to recreate what had happened earlier when he was fighting Teckluh. And just like a Spatial ring Ben easily knew how to control the glove and sword. With his command, the Great sword returned to his hands.

Knight Eldon was burning through his reserve only to stall for a little more time... one or two more hours, for reinforcement to arrive. It was simply impossible to win without external help.
In the main battlefield Knight Eldon fought dangerously with Ghal. Both warriors fell multiple times, yet both warriors stood up even more. They were neck to neck to the prowess. No victor could be determined at the moment. Despite clearly being weaker than the Knight, Ghal was still able to stand the Knight's barrage of attacks with little effort
Ghal on the other hand was getting more and more frustrated. Normally he wouldnt have such confindence in facing off a Knight because of the strenght desparity between him - who has the same strength as a Sixthe-level Elemental Swordsman.
The main reason was because of the thick Darkness-type Elemental energy in the air he gain what one would call unimaginable confidence.
To every demon present they wouldn't even need to take a lot of the element in their body to cast a spell. The Dark aura in the air was enough to sustain their powerful spells.
"Mr. Knighty, I thought Knights are meant to be all strong and powerful. How come your stregnth is just... so so? Hahaha." Ghal burst out laughing when he noticed he hit the Knight's nerve.
"Why don't we go up that hill so I could hear what you had just said more clearly. Cuz, I think its a bit dirty and noisy out here, don't you think?" Eldon didn't want to dirty his dignity as a Knight, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to exchange a few words with the Demon.
"Oh, dont worry old man, this will be your burial ground." Ghal said with a manacing grin.
"Says the one who has gone to hell and back." Eldon laughed. If the Demon wanted to exchange words that hurt he will gladly do so. He would even like the talking to be a little bit more than the fighting.
He took a quick look at the Old wizard's fight. When compared to him who has only one opponent the old man was doing quite well. But as an experienced and seasoned warrior he knew that the advantage the old man has is only temporary. the tables will begin to turn any momnent from now.
With a side jab followed with a thrusting stab, he was able to make Ghal back off a little. If not that stab should have been enough to end the bastard.

A white trail of light moved passed the chaotic battlefield with a lot of speed, which can only happen if boosted with a spell. Ben was like a fish in the water, leaving death behind his trail of light.
Ben was about to slice off the head of a Demonically Possessed man with the head of a dog. If Ben was to look closely he would see that the head was actually floating a few millimetres above the neck. But, who in their right minds would care to look at such a henious thing. He was stopped just before he could decapitate the being.
A piecing screech came from the sky, dropping at such an insane speed towards Ben. If not for having heightened senses Ben would have been crushed.
Upon sensing the threat literally
looming over him accompanied with the sound barrier breaking, Ben used both the Wind Element and a Flame Burst spell to propel himself out of reach to whatever for coming for him.
*BOOM!*
A giant crater appeared in place of Ben. Only after the dust settled did those who survived such impact look to see what it was that made such a deadly landing.
Ben on the other hand stood about twelve metres away from the crater. Not once did he stop channeling his Wind Element, building up as much pressure as he could.
The creature that landed leapt out of the crater landing just at the edge of the crater. What Ben saw was out of his expectations. The being before him can be described as an exceptional beauty, that was if they weren't enemies fighting to kill each other while the said beauty was the one responsible for all the massacre that had been ongoing.
"My, my. It is really hard to see a beauty such as yourself in a place like this, am I right?" Ben said looking around him as though trying to make a point. However, he did this only to avert his eyes towards another direction.
This was because immediately he laid his eyes on her face he felt a very powerful Charm spell coming from her. He knew for one that if he eventually locked eyes with this new demoness, even his strong Mindpower wouldn't be able to save him. With just the glimpse he got off her, he knew that if it was the previous 'Ben' he would have tried flirtng with her if they also weren't in such a situating.
Sending even more Magic Power into the Wind Track spell he was becoming ever more vigilant.
"You have been a pain in the back, did you know that?" Bloodbath's singsong voice flowed passed cries and clanking of metals throughout the battlefield only to end in Ben's ears.
Right when Bloodbath opened her mouth to talk Ben was already receiving a bombardment of mental attacks. Forget being a second late, if Ben had been ten seconds or even twenty seconds later on building a mental fortitude he would have already been Charmed by the demoness.
If that were to happen, Ben's unfathomable strength won't be used against demons, but humans instead. What was more demoralizing than losing against an enemy? It was seeing your brother siding that same enemy.
immediately Ben was able get out of that mental battle he threw a smile at Bloodbath saying, "Well, it wasn't nice meeting you, and I hope not to see you again." and like a missile Ben moved hundreds of metres in a second.
He didn't even bother trying to kill any Demonically Possessed on his way because right behind him was a very powerful demoness who seems to be ready to tear him to pieces.
"I am afraid I won't let you live." another of Bloodbath's words landed in his ears.
"Ugh..." Ben visibly shook from that mental attacks. It took all his Will to reinforce his Mental Wall. "I can't really count how many times I've been told that, but in different words." Ben's taunt was what one could call infuriating. She could just tell how Teckluh had said some words similar to that of hers.
"Then I'll make sure to make them true." Bloodbath replied. Her left hand moved towards her back, pulling out a blood red crimson sword from its sheath.
