" Brother, what will happen if I die?" Lily spoke breaking Angelo's peaceful demur. His initial smile was effectively wiped off as he looked at the girl with a frown.

" Don't be silly. We can't die. Our parents ensured that we are both immortal. Don't joke about such things princess. It's not funny."

He went back to his work after scolding her for her words. He didn't like talking about death. At least not that of the person he considered his soulmate. His beloved twin.

No matter who comes into his life, she would always be his number one priority. They shared a bond that was too rare between siblings. He was used to keeping her safe.

Lily looked at her brother feeling her eyes well up with tears. Hearing her brother's serious words only made it so real. She was going to die and leave her loved ones behind.
