Morning came too fast for Lily. She had

a rough night but at some point, found comfort and fell into a deep slumber. Despite the long hours of sleep, she felt exhausted.

She was partially awake but had yet to open her eyes. She felt as though she was sleeping in a hot funnel. The heat that surrounded her body wa scorching hot.

It would have normally burnt others but for her, it was just enough to make her sweat. This was the other reason why Arif never slept in the same bed with others.

When he was conscious, he could control his body temperature. Once he fell into a deep slumber, his entire frame would be covered in the flame that acted as a protective shield around him.

So, imagine his shock when he opened his eyes and came face to face with an angel. That wasnt the shocking part.
