After xiao shen return to his clans, he places his new servant toward their new quarters. The guards question who they were and xiao shen only told them that they are his servant that only obeys to him.
None question further afraid of offending him seeing as he could defeat them without raising a finger.
Xiao shen created runes for gu lin to hide his strength and can be used to notify him if something to happens. It also allows him to know if he had betrayed him or not. Though he doubts that considering they know they could them.
A week had passed, xiao shen an his lover were vigorously training inside his immortal mansion. Yuki was getting more proficient in using a bo staff that he created yeoui for her which she loved giving him a passionate kiss on the lips.
Xaio shen was dumbfounded of her action but grinned when xun-er got jealous and if the same with her.
Xun-er became an expert in using her sword and could even use power intent to create sword mirage cutting even space itself.

The people moved to create a path for three people who wore the same type of clothing that had yun lan sect insignia. They acted arrogant smirking seeing the people quiver in fear.

He dicided to provoke them even further by just going pass their dumbstruck faces. Xiao shen suddenly caught fist in his grasp surprise the attacker.

With that he ripped the person clean off then move to the second one by doing downward kick then spun around to do another one to his companion.
They couldn't react fast enough all of them were flailing in pain. Xiao shen couldn't kill them on the spot with many people watching as it would ruin the chance of forming a bond with na lan yan ran.
"Next time when you speak arrogantly, know who you are dealing with. Power can beat experience."
Leaving them a piece of advance with their hatred gaze locked towards his disappearing figure. They were ashamed as every citizen witness their utter debate that it was laughable.

The xiao clan couldn't even compare at how beautiful the house that was built. He turn towards the guard who asked for the reason why he was there.
Once he explain his reason they quickly led him to where nalan yanran was practicing her swordsmanship. Xiao shen was taken away from her ability truly a genius comparable to xun-er if she wasn't from an ancient clan.
"Your way in sword is magnificent yet you lack trust in your blade."
Nalan yanran came to a stopped then gaze towards the voices. What she saw young man slightly older than her age. The air he carried was heavy that nalan yanran felt she was in the presence of her master.
He had a long flowing hair wearing dark robe with purple streamlines and inner shirt. The young man had an confident smiled rather an arrogant one.
"Who are you?"
"Why would I give my name when you had not?"
Nalan yanran was surprised that someone didn't know who she was. From the mere mention her name many would fall in their knees in references but the person in front of her had remain indifference.
"Young mistress this person here to heal old master's poison!!"
Without the slightest hesitation nalan yanran place her blade toward xiao shen neck who didn't even flinch.
"Many had come and all of them had fallen. How are you sure that won't be the same?"
"I am certain that even the poison above the heaven will be nothing to me."
Xiao shen increase his pressure making nalan flinch in fear. The aura was comparable to her master, a dou emperor.
Still it just the pressure as xiao shen decided to remain cripple for the time being as it was more exciting being underestimated.
"As for how I can cure your grandfather then we shall see."
Xiao shen lifted the pressure making nalan ran breath easier looking at him with hope. She wanted for her beloved grandfather to be cured.
"Also I think you need a new sword."
From his words nalan sword was slice cleanly to pieces like a piece of paper. Nalan couldn't believe what she saw her weapon was create with the highest material that her master personally collected.
"H-How did you do that!?"
"I thought you want me to cure your grandfather not wasting our time talking."
"Y-You are right! Come with me."
Nalan yanran brought xiao shen to where her father was sitting where they talk to xiao yan in the canon.
"Are you truly capable what you claim?"
"It is easy as counting my fingers! A measly branded poison isn't could only compare to a fart."

He stood up from where he was and approach xiao shen releasing his pressure on him that did nothing.

Xiao shen released his presume while summon tiny bit of his nirvana flames. Every time he used this flames the essence flame react and wish to join it.
If he ever wanted a essence flame then xiao shen could instantly steal that person flame without a problem.
"T-Tiny world!? Who are you!?"
"I would tell who I am after I saved your father."
Reluctant he may be nalan's father told her to bring him to where her grandfather was. Xiao shen was brought to an underground basement where upon entering could feel the cold air.
"We are finally here."
Xiao shen was greeted with frozen corpses of people who tried to heal him. He was impressed that the old man able to hold on for so long.
"Despite his pale faces I am honored to meet someone who lived in protecting people."
He was a man who gave value to people who had serve in the military who sacrifice everything for the people to lived peacefully.
Xiao shen did not hesitate to casually approach him despite the treat of the branded poison surprising nalan.
"What are you doing!?"
"I am here to heal him do I not? A mere branded poison will submit to me. Further you should stay and watch."
"Boy you impress me but do you have the qualification? I can tell your not even a alchemist?"
A rough and weak voice came from the old man yet it hold such strong conviction that it did not sound like an old man in death door.
"My qualification is far from even the heavens reach."
Xiao shen finally close enough that the branded poison tried to attack him. Nalan was shocked that he didn't even evade it and only stood.
"Do not move…"
Xiao shen voice remain calm as he felt the branded poison was attach itself to him. Instead of being alarm, he smirk gaining a fine addition to his power.
The branded poison was similar to a symbiote that needed a perfect host in order to fully show its strength. The old man his poison was leaving his body yet became concerned seeing the young man consumed by the poison.
"Young man are you still alive!?"
"Never better."
After awhile the branded poison fully fused with his body creating a serpent tattoo on his arms. He smiled seeing it looked fucking cool.
The old man felt his dou qi returning rapidly until bursting melting all the ices. He observe his body and felt a lot better.
"You did! Grandfather, you cured!!"
Nalan who was frozen until now ran up to her grandfather and hugged him tightly with eyes of regret. Xiao shen remain silent letting them enjoyed their time..
'Grandpa I wonder how you doing…'
"Thank you very much our family is in debt with your action."
"Like I said I'm merely here to satisfy my boredom."
"I see if it's alright but can we invite you for launch?"
"I would loved to but first I want to introduce myself as I have yet to tell you my name. I am xiao shen from the xiao clan."
