Capítulo 90: Heart to Heart (1)

Opening his eyes, Noxtis groggily rose up from his lying position. His head was pounding as he lifted himself to his elbow, peering through his heavy eyelids. That motion would spell his doom as the bright light shined in his eyes, searing his addled mind even more. Thoroughly flustered, Noxtis rubbed his eyes and head in a vain attempt to regain some semblance of normalcy.

"Morning shadow, or my soon-to-be grandson."

Hearing a familiar deep voice, Noxtis bunched his eyebrows as a memory flashed in his mind.

"Wait a minute...the last thing that, that I remember was this huuuugggeee dragonkin fist coming straight into my..."

Feeling a large hand heavily pat his back, Noxtis coughed as the breath left his chest. A large earthen bowl was given to him, filling his hands.
