Capítulo 45: Trouble on the Horizon (Edited)

Genevieve handed a couple of Shroud of Darkness potions to Noxtis who placed them in his spatial bag for the moment.

As the group of beastkin got close to their location, Noxtis was finally able to get a good look at who was being chased.

Six beastkin, four of which were ratkin, and the other two were some kind of snake bloodline that he couldn't discern from the distance they were at.

As for the faux savage tarantulas chasing them. They numbered at least 10, with the majority of them being roughly waist size and the leader being as large as the ratkin they were chasing.

"Hmmm must be a Greater and its swarm of Ferals. Those beastkin must've stumbled into a tarantula nest. To think they couldn't kill them."

Genevieve piped up. "Maybe they did fight, we only see the aftermath. They could've fought much more than we see now, and they might have had more members, see one of the ratkin has an injury?"
