" sorry dad. It's just that my wife is upset with me " Devon said confused.
" tell me the truth, why did you bring me here? " Celina asked, holding her anger.
" I brought you here because I was supposed to bring you here as my wife, and that's all" he replied.
" that's a lie" Celina yelled.
" yeah that's lie" Lucifer interrupt.
" dad" Devon yelled.
" what?, why don't you just tell her that you brought her here so you can get her blood " he said then walked to Celina...
" he wants to use you. Now that you're here, he has the blood in his hands, and he can use it. And he doesn't want anybody to near you, nor harm you " Lucifer explained.
" dad... "
" shut up " Celina yelled angrily. " you only protected me for your own gain, you also want my blood " she started sobbing.
" no Celina I... " he put his hand on her shoulder.
" don't touch me" she moved back a little.
" Celina hear me out please " he pleaded as he saw Celina ran upstairs crying. Lucifer smirked, then turned to Devon.
" why did you do this? " Devon asked angry.
" do what? " he asked pretending like he didn't do anything wrong.
" why did you tell her all those things? " he added.
" you mean the truth " he smiled. He stared at Devon's angry looks.
" are you getting emotional? " he asked confused.
" I'm just getting upset " he said.
" okay, I should give your question an answer. I did it for you" he answered.
" you didn't do anything for me, you only did it for your own gain" Devon said.
" I didn't do anything for my own gain, what am I gonna gain? " Lucifer asked.
" you want Celina to leave me, because I said I didn't want to do your work " he replied.
" so you know? " he yelled. Devon turned his head left and right.
" you are really the devil. I'm leaving " Devon said and was about to leave...
" I did it because I love you " Lucifer said with a soft voice.
" you loved that part of me that was taking over your business, you loved that part of me that joined you in tempting people. But now that I've changed, you no longer love me " Devon yelled and instead of him using the stairs, he disappeared.
" you are my son, why should you be good?, you're supposed to be bad and evil. But I still love you" Lucifer said then disappeared.
Celina didn't leave her room, nor did she let any one enter her room. She didn't even went out to eat, because she felt that she was already satisfied because she had just swallowed all the words that they told her.
The next day, After taking her bath, she decided to live the room. The words were already digested, and she is now hungry. She opened her door, and to her surprise, she saw Devon sitting on the ground with Rufus. Devon rested his head on his hand, which was on his knee. Rufus saw Celina, then tapped Devon's hand. Devon looked up, then stood up...
" Celina, I want to tell you the truth, so please hear me out " Devon walked close to her. " Rufus, go. I would like to speak to her alone " he ordered.
" I don't want to talk to you alone. Maybe you might use this opportunity to kill me for my blood " she said still upset.
" okay, Rufus stay. Now let's talk " he ordered, then Rufus stood still.
" even if you were to attack me, Rufus won't do anything "
" how can you say that? " he asked as he was also getting upset.
" you've already wasted the little time that you were suppose to use in talking to me "
" how? " Devon asked confused.
" how? because you were suppose to say everything in one sentence, but you wasted it by asking ' how can you say that? ' sorry " she said then left.
" she's really upset, my lord " Rufus said.
" what am I gonna do now? " Devon asked himself, then disappeared.
Celina didn't even look at Devon that day. And she didn't want to go home so she won't have to tell her parents. Everyone was allowed to talk to her, apart from Devon.
That evening, Celina was in her room with Lizzy and Jake.
" my lady, don't you love lord Devon anymore? " Jake asked. Celina took a deep breath, the released it, before she answered...
" I do. I love and hate him. But my love is stronger than my hate for him" she replied.
" then hear him out" Lizzy said.
" but he... "
" he wanted you for your blood?, my lady, I over heard him saying to his father that...
flashback
Lizzy was going to the kitchen to get water...
" I have to get water from the lady, to cool her down " Lizzy talked to herself. She heard Lucifer and Devon arguing, so she decided to listen.
" you loved that part of me that was taking over your business, you loved that part of me that joined you in tempting people. But now that I've changed, you no longer love me " Devon yelled. Lizzy rushed to the kitchen...
" he changed?, does that mean that he doesn't want to do his father's work? " she whispered.
