I furrowed my brows as I gave Leo a look, before giving him a stern warning, “Although I won’t stop you from seeing Kane from now on, you should at least tell me whenever you’re going to approach Kane by yourself in the future, okay? I don’t wanna see you getting hurt.”
“Don’t worry about it, Hunter!” Leo gave me a rather mischievous smirk and replied with a wink. “The only reason why I didn’t tell you about going to Kane’s place on Sunday is because I wanted to see what you look like after drinking a whole jug of vinegar. Also, I wanted to test whether or not Kane would actually bring up the topic by himself.”
I gritted my teeth and retorted, “Well? Did you like my reaction, Leo?”
