Capítulo 144: Getting Better

Since I was still feeling quite delirious earlier, I managed to fall asleep before I even noticed it. When I woke up for the second time, it was already after midnight. As I sat up from my bed, my stomach had suddenly growled, signalling for me to eat.

I moved my lower body towards the ground and tried to stand up but only for my knees to suddenly become weak and give in. I fell face first on the ground again. My nose, which was hit quite hard, felt a little painful. It was lucky that it wasn't broken.

Leo seemed to have heard the commotion. He was sitting on his work desk, with his arms used as a cushion as he laid his head sideways to sleep on the table. When I fell to the ground, Leo was instantly startled awake. After finding what happened to me, he immediately jumped down from his chair and tried to help me up.
