Capítulo 17: Chapter 17: Hinata Enters the Shop

Time passed quietly, and before Anlan realized it, night had fallen.

Anlan stood in the kitchen, fully absorbed in creating a new dish.

The restaurant was gradually gaining traction, and he believed that in another two to three days, he would have enough points to open his next shop.

At that moment, a petite girl with a bob haircut timidly approached the entrance of the shop.

Ding! You have synchronized the Byakugan of the Hyuga Clan.

Ding! You have synchronized the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms.

Two notification sounds rang in Anlan's mind as he looked up to see the girl standing at the door. It was none other than Hinata Hyuga, the princess of the Hyuga Clan.

Hinata stood on tiptoe, her pure white eyes scanning the shop nervously.

She seemed to be debating whether to enter or not.

Since it was already past dinner time, she wasn't sure if the shop was still open.

"Excuse me... is this place still open?" Hinata asked hesitantly after peeking around for a while.

"Yes, we're still open. Come in," Anlan replied.

Hinata cautiously entered the shop and took a seat near the kitchen counter.

"What would you like to eat?" Anlan asked, smiling as he walked out of the kitchen, holding a knife.

Hinata instinctively felt like leaving.

"I... I'm not sure. Sakura told me about this place and said the food is really good, so..."

Hinata looked down shyly, unable to meet Anlan's eyes.

This girl was naturally shy and could barely speak to strangers, let alone in a legendary and mysterious restaurant.

"Not sure what to choose? How about trying my newly developed dish—Lobster Triple Crown?" Seeing Hinata struggling to decide, Anlan suggested.

"What is Lobster Triple Crown?" Hinata asked curiously, looking up.

Anlan smiled mysteriously. "Lobster Triple Crown consists of three lobster dishes: lobster sashimi, lobster tempura, and lobster soup. The taste, creativity, and presentation are top-notch!"

Hinata swallowed hard. Just hearing about the three different lobster preparations made her stomach growl.

"How much does it cost? I only have 6,000 ryo..." Hinata asked, her face turning red with embarrassment.

Although she came from a wealthy family, Hinata was very frugal.

Spending 6,000 ryo on a meal was already the most extravagant she could imagine. If it cost more than that, she would hold back, no matter how good the food was.

"This dish is originally priced at 30,000 ryo..."

As soon as Anlan said the price, Hinata's face turned as red as an apple.

So expensive! A meal costing 30,000 ryo!

And the most embarrassing part was that she didn't have enough money...

"I'm sorry, I... I'll leave now..."

Hinata started to get up and leave.

But Anlan quickly reached out and grabbed her hand.

"Wait, I haven't finished."

With both hands on Hinata's shoulders, Anlan gently pushed her back into her seat.

"30,000 ryo is the official price starting tomorrow. Since the dish is still in the trial phase today, you're in luck. I'll let you try it for free."

Hinata's eyes sparkled, and she became too shy to speak.

The boss was treating her?

Sakura had mentioned that Anlan was very strict about prices, never giving any discounts, not even for the smallest items.

Such a stingy boss, treating her to a meal?

Hinata's heart pounded, and her head felt dizzy.

But she quickly recovered as she was mesmerized by Anlan's culinary skills.

In the kitchen, Anlan positioned the knife against the lobster's abdomen. With a swift motion, a gleaming blade light flashed, and the lobster's shell was expertly opened, revealing the pristine, snow-white lobster meat inside.

"Such impressive knife skills!" Hinata murmured, her eyes sparkling.

Anlan said nothing.

For him, preparing lobster was hardly a warm-up.

Next came the slicing.

Lobster meat is much more delicate than fish, requiring extreme patience and focus to slice without ruining it.

Anlan used kitchen paper to dry the translucent lobster meat.

Then, he pulled out a new knife he had purchased from the system store that evening—a legendary blade made from thousand-year-old ice.

"Shing!"

The knife glinted coldly as Anlan wielded it.

He was oblivious to the knife's icy chill, focusing only on the fresh lobster meat before him.

Shing, shing, shing!

The knife moved so swiftly that the air seemed to freeze, leaving Hinata breathless. With each flick of his wrist, thin slices of lobster meat fell like petals, perfectly even in size and thickness.

"Wow, that's amazing!" Hinata whispered, covering her mouth in awe.

The lobster sashimi looked like slices of crystal, so clear that Hinata could see her reflection in them.

In no time, the entire lobster was transformed into perfectly arranged slices of sashimi on a decorative plate.

Anlan set the plate of lobster sashimi on the table, along with a dipping sauce made from grated daikon, lemon juice, and vinegar. He gestured for Hinata to try it.
