Freya finally exhaled in relief and focused on work after the gossiping had died down.

Abigail leaned into the seat backrest and contemplated.

Before long, she turned to look at Freya from behind. She smiled as she rolled her chair over next to Freya and said warmly, "Freya."

Freya frowned. "Yes?"

"I just joined the department, so I'm a little lost. Do you mind helping me?"

Freya spoke to her objectively without trying to get chummy with Abigail. "Why don't you start familiarizing yourself with our products? I think that's the best way to start."

Abigail nodded slowly.

Knock Knock Knock!

Someone knocked on the department door.

Since Abigail was very distracted, she looked up when she heard the knocking.

Freya did not bother continuing with the subject and got back to work.

Abigail greeted someone in surprise. "Asher."

Asher Rivera sounded shocked to see her. "Abigail?"
