Freya felt puzzled to see him and asked, "Are you here to pick me up?"

Gideon had no patience for her. He raised his hand and rubbed his brow as he sat in the car, looking at the woman from behind. "Aren't you asking the obvious? Why do you have so many questions?"

Freya pursed her lips. She acknowledged the man promptly before looking in the Southeast direction in the parking lot.

The car window of a Rolls Royce Ghost gradually wound down.

She walked towards the car.

When Freya got to the side of the car, she halted in her steps. She asked, "Mr. Carter, you didn't have to pick me up. I could have taken the subway."

Gideon said in an authoritative tone succinctly, "Get in."

Freya tightened her grip on her bag and seemed reluctant. "I…"
