Freya checked her phone when she got back to the office.

She had received a text message from Ashley.

[Darling, I did not expect your husband to suddenly appear at the restaurant. Are you alright?]

Freya exhaled and composed a reply.

[He didn't do anything to me. It's not like he can eat me alive, right? I'm good. What did Mr Anderson say?]

After replying to Ashley, Freya put down the phone and found a potentially big client's number and dialed it.

Before long, the call went through.

Freya smiled and said, "Hi, Mr. Davis. I am Freya Keller from Carter Group. We spoke earlier…"

Before she could finish her sentence, Mr. Davis interrupted her. "Ms. Keller, I remember you. Hasn't the company already assigned a new representative to work with me?"

"Is that so? I was on extended leave previously, so I wasn't able to contact you as regularly."
