Two years into the High King's rule, the investigation into the death of the deceased High King still beared no fruits and so the High King declared an end to the investigation.

"My Lord, we're being trailed." General Denver reported in a low tone.

After the battle with the burrow blood worm, the party had already been travelling for another three days and at their current pace, they would be leaving the dreary Western mountain pass behind soon enough.

Over the past three days, the party had travelled in silence, the atmosphere between the warriors of the Flame Aegis and the Gavarian warriors was still tense and the High King and his royal guards seemed to be caught in between.

What was worse, three entire days had passed and Lord Rina Arden had not spoken a single word, merely leading the party in utter silence.
