Marinette had a sinking feeling that she was being watched. She walked towards the entrance of the shop and prepared to enter when she felt someone sweep her off of her feet. She opened her mouth to let out a scream but the figure shoved rag into her mouth. She felt her vision spin and fell to the ground as whatever chemical was on the rag. It looked like three figures were in front of her when in reality there was only one cloaked figure. She couldn't make out the features as the cloaked person was wearing a mask and goggles, but he looked oddly familiar. She couldn't keep her eyes open anymore and she fell unconscious. The cloaked figure moved in to take Marinette when Loki and Cat Noir came running to her rescue. Loki transformed into his battle uniform and swung his staff at the cloaked figure. In that moment, the cloaked figure disappeared in a cloud of smoke leaving Cat Noir and Loki coughing. "Mari!" Cat Noir screamed as he found her unconscious form in the alley. Loki brought his staff over to her and waved it over her head. Cat Noir wasn't sure what he was doing but whatever it was, it seemed to be helping. Cat Noir nudged her on the cheeks a bit and her eyes slowly opened. She sat up panting for breath and embraced Cat Noir. "I was so worried." He said. "From now on we've got to stay together okay?" "Agreed," Marinette said clasping his hand. She wiped off the dirt from her face and tried to clean her soiled dress. "Oh no." Loki said noticing a commotion. People had seen him, and a couple of the avengers had arrived. A huge blast of lightning struck in front of him as Thor approached. "Spots on!" Marinette declared transforming. She was ready to fight whatever this threat was. Loki immediately began to battle his brother. "Cataclysm!" Cat Noir shouted and ran towards Thor. He was shoved aside and didn't get the chance to destroy anything with his touch. Next Ladybug strung her yo yo around Thor and pulled. He got off balance enough that Loki hit him down. "Nice teamwork!" Loki declared and dodged his brothers' now angrier attacks. Just when Ladybug thought they had the upper hand though Iron Man entered the scene. "Loki, got some new partners? Didn't know you had those." He said blasting his repulsors at him. Loki growled shooting his staff at him. "Missed me." Iron man said dodging away from his blasts. Ladybug flung her yo yo at Iron man and pulled him to the ground. "Wow, bug girl's got muscles." He quipped and began to blast at her feet, intentionally missing as he didn't want to hurt her. Cat Noir lunged in front of Ladybug. "Stay away from my lady!" He yelled destroying part of Iron man's armor with his Cataclysm. "Wow did not see that coming. What are you, some sort of destructo cat kid?" He said his armor regenerating. He pushed Cat Noir aside. Ladybug ran towards Loki to help him fight off Thor who was gaining the upper hand. "Look out!" She yelled as a blast just missed him. Just then she saw Cat Noir flying across the street. "That can't be good." She said to herself. All of a sudden, she was lifted off of her feet and was brought hundreds of feet into the air by Iron Man. She struggled and reached for her yo yo but saw that it wasn't on her and panic set in. "Relax, I'm not gonna drop you bug girl so stop struggling!" Iron man said struggling to keep a hold on Ladybug who was squirming in his arms. "Let me go!" She shouted and tried to pry open his arms. "Sorry, no can do. Anyone who works with Loki is not getting away on my watch." He flew at high speed through the city and towards a huge tower. The tower was known as avengers tower and displayed a huge "A" on the side. Ladybug was still trying to pry open Iron man's hands that were tightly around her as he slowed down and landed on the top of the tower. "Seriously, relax kid or I'll have to get Doctor Strange to put you to sleep." Ladybug stopped struggling. "That's more like it." Iron man said leading her to a huge lab that was right within the building. He shoved her into a chair and restraints clicked onto her wrists. "What are you going to do? Experiment on me?" Ladybug said with a shaking voice and a scowl on her face. "I would never hurt you sweetheart." Iron man said and Ladybug rolled her eyes at his comments. Is this what Cat Noir would turn into? she thought. Iron man removed his armor and the genius Tony Stark emerged with a grin on his face. "So, what did he tell you?" Tony asked. Ladybug tipped her head unsure of what he meant. "Loki, what did he say that got you to help him?" She understood now. "He's a friend that's all and I don't know who you are." Tony laughed and then replied. "Loki doesn't have any friends just victims. And I'm Tony Stark, the one and only, genius billionaire, philanthropist. You have to have heard of me before." Ladybug shook her head and Tony shrugged. Just then a knock was heard on the door of Tony's lab. "Come in!" He called and Ladybug strained to see who the visitor was. A man with a jedi like outfit and cape entered the room. "Ah Doctor Strange what a pleasant surprise." Tony said. Ladybug tugged at her wrists but couldn't break free. "I saw there was a commotion in the city and heard you come back." Tony walked over to his friend, "Oh its Loki as usual, always picking a fight, and he had a bit of help this time." Tony gestured to Ladybug who was fidgeting in her chair. "She seems to have superpowers of sort, I'm running scans, but I can't figure out where they are coming from." Tony said. Dr. Strange walked over to Ladybug and knelt down in front of her. He gave a glare at Tony when he saw that she was trembling. "You're pretty young to have such big responsibilities," He said kindly. "I'm sure you didn't mean to team up with Loki, he's tricked us all before." Tony glared at Strange for this comment. "What do you want from me?" Ladybug asked. "All I want is answers." Tony chimed in. "Where are your superpowers coming from? Why are you on the national database for criminals?!" He said putting a tablet in front of her showing the arrest warrant for herself. "It's all a misunderstanding." She said. "Oh yeah? Then why are all of the government forces after you in Paris?" "I…" Her voice trailed off and tears began to spring into her eyes. "Tony! She doesn't seem that dangerous so let's get to the bottom of this when she's ready to talk. Not everyone can handle your wit all day." "Is that a personal attack?" He stomped away and Dr. Strange patted Ladybug on the shoulder. Tony went back to his desk and Dr. Strange sat on a sofa.
