3rd Person POV
As Ílios finally regained his bearings he realized he knew this hobo, and that he wasn't a hobo. This man looked just like the One Above All when he met his favourite Marvel Character, Peter Parker.
Ílios couldn't tell whether or not this man was the marvel OAA or not, but one thing is for sure, he was powerful. More powerful than anything he'd ever sensed in his life, Kronos' power was like a speck of dust compared to his, standing before this overwhelming power Ílios followed his instincts and took kneeled down before him.
"Now, now, that's not necessary if I wanted you to bow I would have told you to bow" he spoke softly with a melodious yet authoritative voice. He looked at the now standing Ílios with kinds fatherly eyes, and as if reading his mind(which he probably did) interrupted him.
" I know what you're gonna ask so I'm just gonna cut to the chase" he cut in. "No, I am not the OAA I'm just borrowing this appearance as it's one you recognize. My true name is Khaos I am the overseer of most mythological realities along with its variants like the Riordan Verse which you are currently in. I was getting bored of how things were going so I decided to switch things up a little and add a wildcard. The reason you can't remember you're former name, or family is because I didn't want anything holding you back on your new journey. As to why you can remember your wife leaving you and all the painful memories that surround that part of your life, well that's because I wanted you to be properly motivated to become great, and what's a better motivation than anger. That's why I chose you before your death you prayed out to any deity out there asking for another chance, swearing that you wouldn't waste the opportunity and that you would make something of yourself, that you would never again show weakness, I heard your plea and decided to reincarnate you. Now as to what I want you to do here, simple, entertain me, I want you to give me the most entertaining show ever, I don't care how you wanna go about it, you can be a hero, a villain, an anti-hero, I don't care as long as you achieve greatness. Now that I've answered most of your questions is there anything else you'd like to say or can we move on?" Asked Khaos.
"Well, at least now I know who was responsible or that annoying hell loop of memories in the void." Spit out Ílios. "I should be mad but since you actually listened to my prayer and saved me all I'm gonna say is thank you. Though I do have one question, why are we on giant stadium-sized sunflower in the middle of space?"
"Good question, the simplest way to put it, is that this flower is your lot. " he said as if expecting that explanation to be sufficient. Seeing the look of confusion on Ílios' face Khaos decided to elaborate a little more. "Ok guess that explanation was lacking, let me keep going. You know how when the 3 brothers defeated Wide Mouth they drew lots to split the world? Well seeing as I reincarnated you as one of the sons of Kronos I needed to give you something to rule over to be able to match your brothers, I couldn't give you the earth seeing as that's neutral so I gave you the sun, and seeing as all your brothers had jobs to do in their respective kingdoms like Hades overseeing the dead, Poseidon keeping the ancient sea monsters at bay and Zeus monitoring the skies I wanted to give you a job too where you could build your own kingdom and rule as king like your brothers, so I came up with the ingenious idea of the Forge of Souls." He finished with a wide smile.
"So my brothers get the underworld, the seas, and the skies and I get a giant yellow flower? Gee thanks this makes me feel important" ílios responded with annoyance clear in his voice.
"You're underestimating the importance of the duty I'm giving you, see in the original version of the world souls just came into existence once the person is was born, there's never an origin as to where they come from, so I decided to take a page from Yahweh's book where souls are created before your even conceived on earth. And that is what this sunflower is, a forge powered by the sun (which is a symbol of life) that creates the souls of all the future inhabitants of the Greek World. Your job when you eventually return will be to properly filter out the souls being sent down to earth, you have to separate to godly ones from the mortal and animal ones, that's actually the reason the humans are so stupid during Kronos' reign, though Helios tried his best he could never properly differentiate human souls from animal souls. When you eventually return here after having defeated your father this will be your job to oversee the forge, you can't destroy the souls or interfere with the creation process but you can arrange them in sectors like what hades does in the underworld, do you understand now?" He questioned.
"I understand perfectly, but this just seems like a very overcomplicated way to make the sun domain seem as important as my brothers', I don't mind though it seems pretty cool, so is this it or do you have anything else to add?" asks Ílios.
"Nope this is all I wanted to say, now get ready to start your journey m. You probably won't see me again till I destroy this universe at the end of time unless you do something to piss me off, so don't piss me off." Says Khaos as Ílios' body once again starts to slowly transform into light particles.
"Where are you sending me, to Crete with Zeus? Or some other island I can hideout and train?" Asks Ílios.
"I'm sending you to someone very powerful who can teach you how to access your divinity, someone very much like you, and make sure not to talk about snakes, he hates snakes, good luck." he says with a smirk before watching Ílios disappear..
Again constructive criticism would be really helpful I wanna know if my stile of writing is easy to follow and if my grammar is up to par.
