GIDEON's POINT OF VIEW
"Is that you Gideon?" Someone caught my attention. He seems familiar and I think I saw him already. But I just glared at this old man in front of me.
"Uncle Jakob? Is that you?" Bryan loudly asks the old man. Oh! I forgot he is one of the workers in Rancho, my bad.
"Uncle! You're still young e?" I enter the conversation.
"You still remember me, Gideon? You are already a man e?" He said while laughing seems like a nostalgic moment that he experienced in his entire life,
"I'm sorry Ankol! Since it's been a year when I went back here in Sta. Carmona. I stayed in Barcelona for a long time." Ankol, this is how I address him. Uncle Jakob is one of the best workers here in our Rancho.
When I was a kid he taught me how to pilot a kite. He's also my bodyguard here in Sta. Carmona. But I left, I need to.
"How's Erika?" I stumble for a moment when he asks a certain name that I don't want to hear anymore.
