Capítulo 43: 43. Kingdom.
A brownish yellow mega-materia appears next, I had four mega-materia in total. Once this rough blob shaped crystal touched the plinth it also got a makeover. The earth rumbled under our feet as fresh dirt just seemed to appear instead of the cold hard gray floor. The mana in the air increasing even more as the crystal sinks inside of the plinth appearing on the right of the red mega-materia.
"Fire and Earth. Next comes Wind!" a greenish mega-materia comes out next and touches the plinth getting the beautifying effect. A refreshing breeze filled with energy, life and mana rolls across the kingdom.
The green crystal makes it spot known across from the earth materia.
"And finally water!" The final blue crystal touches the plinth shining brightly as dark clouds fill the sky before life giving rain starts to trickle down. The new blue crystal is across from the fire crystal at the bottom of the gray plinth.
There is a bright glow as all the crystal's connect with a bright light on the plinth.
The mega-materia added all the elements I would need being basically super materia, I can even see lightning in the clouds above.
Waving my hand the clouds part and sun shines down on us once again.
The air at this point is absolutely saturated in magical energy.
However it isn't done yet. A massive piece of light blue crystal appears and touches the plinth. This is called the Sun-Cryst a massive chunk of what is called nethicite but is basically the same as the other crystals just a mass of mana from the center of the world. This was used to power the sky fortress Bahamut and I gained it from Vayne, i still have the sky fortress and it is already powered this just seems to be a spare.
This time the crystal sinks and vanishes but the effect in the world is immediate as the magical energy skyrockets to form a kind of mist that rolls through the air before dispersing.
"I think that's all of them. Ah!" I take out the Dragon Block Staff and it starts to suck in mana from the surroundings greedily before floating up to join various items in the sky, like the dragon buster sword.
"Now for the Kingdom Guardian." I pull out a red summon materia and stick it into the plinth.
There is a flash of light that is absolutely blind everyone as a massive figure appears.
Like we are talking huge huge.
Hel and Lili gawk at the massive metal behemoth that is Alexander. Alexander is a automaton summon about the size of a real life gundam, but also a transformer in a way as he can transform into a massive fortress.
There is a clunk of metal and a hiss of steam from the giant metal knight. "Alexander! You'll be one of the protectors of the kingdom."
*Psshhhhh!!!* The metal behemoth releases more steam shifts its form and turns into a fortress filled with various cannons that can fire off holy blasts. The best part is that you could live inside of the behemoth of a summon.
(Alexander is one of my favorite summons in final fantasy.)
Sadly he wouldn't be a good summon outside due to his massive size. Here however he could be a prime protector. He doesn't require food, he provides shelter for the knights, he is better in his fortress mode as those massive cannons can make mince meat of just about anything, I could probably open a portal and have him fire out of it maybe.
"Well it's been a successful day so far." I smile at my work. Sure I need to do a lot more but for now this is good. "Alright my knights you can train or do whatever you like, I may call upon you later. For now I feel like just relaxing." I tell them.
"Yes my king." They answer before running off to continue training.
I open up the portal to the house and step back through with Lili and Hel.
"What was that?" Lili asks confused.
Hel frowns for a second. "I believe that was the birth of a planet. Why do they call you King?"
"I own that place, technically I'm the king of it. Not much of one yet, but I have my own knights." I do a quick search through my ring to see if there are any more Knights of the Round materia. Sadly there does not appear to be any. Perhaps it was something unique to Cloud? Well I was more than satisfied with what i have now. Maybe I can get more of the materia at level up? That would be great. "I'll need to see if they are classified as monsters, but I should probably do that tomorrow. Cause enough trouble today."
"What was that giant armor?" Lili asks.
"That was a summon, his name is Alexander. Kind of like Boko, however he is far too big to be able to really help me in the dungeon or come into the city. That would 100% cause mass panic and unrest." I tell her. "Well tomorrow I'll head to the guild to get chewed out by Rose more than likely and see if I can get them classified as equipment, if not it's going to cost me a fortune."
The rest of the evening was spent quietly with me going over the various new items in my inventory. I planned to pick up some new materia to use as well and I still needed to get my Guardian Forces settled.
Lili and Hel had finished cleaning up the house a while ago and were now resting. Lili had one amazing day, so she was pretty tuckered out. Honestly it was a pretty crazy day I must admit. Well technically it's been a pretty crazy week if I have to give it that.
The next morning I headed to the guild fully expecting to be chewed out. Which is exactly what happened.
