Capítulo 16: 16. Loki.
The next morning I informed Rose I would be meeting with the Loki familia so I wouldn't be studying today.
I made sure to grab my money and shopping list and other papers before I escorted Hel to the Twilight Manor to see her sister.
I was in my casual clothes with the buster sword across my back. Didn't want other gods touching my cloak or being near it.
Sure enough people quickly got away from us when Hel was near me, they seemed to shiver and get the fuck out of the way with looks of fear in their faces.
Hel looked a bit sad at this. "Well you have me now so you don't have to worry about things like this anymore. Plus I don't like being crowded by people, makes me anxious honestly. Plus we can't be robbed." I say happily.
Hel smiles slightly at my words.
Arriving at the Twilight Manot where Loki lives even the gaurds at the gate shiver in front of Hel. "I'm here to see my sister Loki." Hel says to them.
"Yes Goddess Hel we shall inform her right away." on of the gaurds says before quickly fleeing into the manor.
I hear the other one mutter something like "Coward." and giving him a jealous look.
I just grin at the whole thing at pat the pouting Hel on the head with a laugh.
The gaurd comes back. "Goddess Loki is waiting for you in the main room." He says and let's us by.
Honestly the manor is a pretty nice place, quite big and I can see a ton of people walking around or fleeing from us.
Hel has been here before and leads the way to the main room where a red haired woman was sitting lazily on a couch. Honestly she kinda looked like a slob at first glance to me. Her squinted eyes were rather unique though and gave her a lazy look. She wore a pair of shorts and a tight shirt which showed off her lack of a chest. Flat as a board. Airport Runway.
At least my goddess had breasts a nice handful too, perfect amount.
"Sister, I must admit I'm surprised by your visit." Loki says with a smile not really showing much of a reaction towards Hel's aura of death.
"I wanted to introduce you to my new familia member. Plus you haven't visited in a while." Hel replies with a smile of her own.
"Oh, you finally got a familia member?" Loki raises an eyebrow in my direction.
"Hello." I say casually.
However the stare I get from Loki is quite intense. "There is something off about your body?"
"He is eternal. Also I believe he is part spirit, kind of like that child you brag about." This makes both of Loki's eyebrows raise up.
I believe Hel is talking about me being a materia being due to Chaos being merged with me. Technically Chaos is a being made of pure materia drawn from the planet, except it's more like the chaotic part of the planet not the pure part. One of the reasons I restore mana so quickly is because my body produces it.
"Hmph, I don't think he could compare with my little Ais." Loki says crossing her arms.
I can tell from the large shit eating grin on the face of Hel that I could indeed compare with her little Ais.
"I remember you bragging for a week that Ais had a S rank skill at level 1 correct?" Hel asks.
"Yep!" Loki says proudly nodding her head. She had indeed bragged to everyone who could listen about Ais having an S rank skill.
Hel just smiles and sits on the couch before pouring herself some tea with a mocking look at Loki whose eyebrows furrow before looking at me.
"Did you have an S rank skill?" She asks.
"Maybe." I say as my ageless skill is S rank as gods and goddesses can tell when you are lying. I didn't mention I had multiple triple s rank skills and an EX rank skill or give her an affirmative or a negative.
Her brows furrow more before looking back at the smug looking Hel.
"What level are you?" Loki asks me.
"Level 1." I tell her.
"Anyway, you talk to Hephaestus normally right? I was wondering if you could put a word in for us, we have some things that need to be made and need to be incredibly precise." Hel says before Loki can ask anything else.
Loki frowns. "And what do I get out of this?" Loki asks.
"I'll tell you one of my skills and guarantee its S rank." I offer. "Information is valuable right?"
She frowns for a second. "I want to know how many S rank skills you have instead and we will have a deal."
"Sure." I hold out my hand for a shake.
She takes my hand quickly sealing the deal.
"Alright now tell me." She says eagerly.
"I only have 1 S rank skill." I tell her and she knows I'm not lying, but the smug look on the face of Hel says otherwise.
"You have a skill above S rank!" She catches on quickly and asks with shock.
"Well sister, I believe we had a deal. Shall we go visit Hephaestus?" Hel asks.
"Hmph! I told you about Ais. You should tell me about your boy!" Loki says.
"Can't, he told me not to." Hel says with a shrug.
Loki turns to me with a frown.
"Knowledge of skills is very valuable, what if you become my enemy? Can't have you knowing my secrets now can i?" I tell her. "Want to make a bet though?"
Both Hel and Loki perk up at this with curiosity.
"What do you have in mind brat?" Loki asks.
"You can call one of your people and I'll use one of my skills on them. If they come out unharmed you can request knowledge on one of my skills and I'll answer truthfully. If that person is harmed by my attack though, then you foot the bill for my trip to Hephaestus, they cannot dodge if they dodge i win and I can confirm that I'm not buying any weapons or armor from Hephaestus, just common moulds and tools I need made."
Loki considers it for a second before nodding. "Follow me."
I mean worst case that happens, I just tell her about my ageless skill, pfft.
We head outside to the training grounds and she calls someone over.
It's a silver haired man with dog ears on his head and a purple tattoo in his face. Other people also come to watch the show.
"Bete, me and this boy here have a deal going. You are to take one of his attacks, you cannot dodge but you can defend. He is level 1 but don't underestimate him."
Bete was currently a level 5 adventurer and just snorted. "I just have to take an attack from this newbie? Hmph waste of my time." He says standing across from me arrogantly.
