Capítulo 32: Of to see the wizard

I was awoken by the clanking of the train car, two weeks have passed since we left Hogwarts ending our second year. Mordred and I earned a spot in the top ten academically, we topped hermione!

Yeah she missed some stuff cause of the petrification, 3 weeks of stuff unaccounted for. It was mainly Snape choosing to cover some 'important' details at the last minute that would determine the majority of the grades for potions. Hermione and Harry missed out cause they were injured.

Whilst Mordred wasn't looking the kid somehow got dosed with some basilisks saliva and fawkes cried on him. So he has a pretty decent poison immunity now. Harry took my advice to go see a healer outside of hogwarts to have a majority of his issues seen to. Poppy couldn't do it for a lot of reasons; firstly dumbledore was watching over her, two she may not have the necessary equipment present because she's a school nurse and three there aren't many cases of someone surviving a basilisks venom never mind taking Phoenix tears on top of it.

Harry mailed us a letter containing his new potion regiment that a ST.Mungos mediwitch signed him up for. Nutrient potions to make up for lack of food and nourishment, correctional potions for some of his badly healed injuries, something for purging the remaining dark magic from his curse mark. Yeah the basilisk poison fried the horcrux, I'm sure the book series just didn't go with that because it would be much more interesting for a final battle.

But hey! The prophecy was fulfilled in a way. Harry did technically die at the hands of Tom, he was injured by a basilisks at Tom's order which would be considered fatal. Harry also recovered from his "death" via Phoenix tears. He then partially vanquished the dark lord by destroying his horcrux.

When I explained this to Mordred she gawked at me "wait does that mean we can hunt down the rest of the horcruxi without any issue?" So now we're on a journey to discover if we can.

The train we are sitting on is not the hogwarts express, it's a train connecting us from Vienna to Salzburg so we can then begin our hike into the mountains to find Nurmengard.

We narrowed down the search by employing one of the spells from the book of Dresden. "Segui votro testatum". This spell allows from someone to be tracked using an item belonging to them granted they link it to one of their senses.

We successfully stole the old blood pact pendant that Albus "destroyed" back in the fantastic beast series. He kept it in his drawer alongside some other trinkets which I think are trophies of people he beat.

It was hilarious when he stormed down the hall after Harry to prevent Malfoy senior from killing the boy who lived. He just left us unattended to in his office so I opened the drawers in his desk and found it.

Even the paintings didn't notice, they were staring blatantly at Mordred the entire time in awe. A living pendragon, of course the ancient wizards would stare at her.

When Albus returned he was none the wiser, we scurried off back to the Gryffindor house before entering our inner camp. Walked into the HP house and pulled out the ingredients for the spell.

The first seperated the two blood samples from Albus and Gellert, then we used a tracking spell known as "duo et enum" to follow the blood to a location on a world map. It pointed us near this spot in Austria, so now we're using the secondary spell to see his location in close proximity. We arrived in Austria via a plane to Vienna, we spent a little bit sightseeing.

The spell works like a video game showing us our objectives location by blasting a beam of light into the sky. At least that's how it worked when we linked it to our eyesight.

Once we got off the train we gathered our belongings and set off into the mountains. 6 days of wandering led us towards the castle. This place was completely black, the creator was definitely aiming for a grim vibe when he built this place. The fact that the words "greater good" were etched into the front gate kinda drove that across. The metal was partially rusted and looked as if the words were bleeding.

Come night time we suited up, Mordred wore her secret of pedigree and engaged it's effects of obscuring her identity. I dawned my king crows cloak and added on a new addition. A hood, the hood was pitch black like the rest of the cloak but was fitted to resemble a hood from assassins creed. I then enchanted a glamour charm into the inner lining of the hood so that to anyone looking at my face they'd see pitch black.

I looked at Mordred and compared her to when we first met. She's grown taller and her tone is more feminine. I guess being surrounded by women in hogwarts had a positive effect on her.

She turned to me "I'll storm the castle whilst you locate the room. Your better a legilimency so your going to do the probe."

I just nodded before we both dashed towards the castle. We agreed not to show off our noble phantasms as we'd shown them off during our soars at hogwarts so Dumbledore would instantly decipher who we are.

So we used our wands and barehands for this. Mordred tossed a "disperdorius" spell at entrance to disperse any magic in the wards. We listened to a creaking noise after the spell impacted the black stone meaning it had some effect.

"Infusarius" I changed sending out a mass of greenish golden flames that reminded me of wildfire a little. Some of the guards began appartating around us but became terrified of the green flames. I heard one scream about it being fiendfyre.

Wizards are still morons it seems, "infriga" the next spell sucked away all the flames and heat only to replace it with ice. Seeing as we were in the alps it was already relatively cold. Some of the guards became incased in ice.

Mordred stormed forwards and begun slinging spells that she spent the year in the forbidden forest developing at the guards. I made use of my skills to vanish from sight. A mild disillusionment spell made me fade into the background.

The tracking spell was still in effect so I just walked towards the golden pillar of light. Eventually I reached a wooden door that was heavily barricaded.

"Illumina magnus" I chanted before pointing my wand upwards. All the runes and wards that were hidden away fizzled into existence. I inspected them searching for an unlocking charm and to determine the areas where I can still cast spells.

I jabbed my wands at key points breaking the magical lock on the door before I bombarded the door. Entering the room swiftly I saw a shaggy old man staring at me with a look of approval in his eye. Guess he liked the entrance?

He opened his mouth to speak but I just pointed "petrificus totalus". The old man fell on face so I walked over and flipped him onto his back with my foot.

"Legilimens" I chanted before delving into his mind. Grindelwald was a master at magic in various forms such as ward craft, dark arts, charms and divination.

All that knowledge was going to prove useful for me. His mindscape was modelled after durmstrang, I had read some schematics about the institute that were kept in hogwarts library. I entered the scandanavian school and headed towards the library or where I presumed it was located.

"So that was your aim was it?" Asked a disembodied voice.

I looked and saw Johnny depps version of Grindelwald manifest behind me. He had an arrogant look plastered on his face that made me frown.

"Open the door to the library or face the consequences." I said in a dark tone. I wasn't willing to risk it with this guy, he wasn't as pathetic as voldemort was.

He chuckled "you think you can just stroll into my mind and take whatever you want? No no no my friend. Instead your going to tell me all that I want to know". He said arrogantly.

I looked at him before back to the door before I raised my hand. He chuckled "I don't allow magic within my mindscape that isn't my own" he said as if staring a fact.

A fact that was about fifty years out of date, Lockeheart had some in-depth research into mental magic. One major flaw is that only mental magic can work against mental magic. So I can either Obliviate Grindelwald to erase the door or try and use my mental power to crush his. Both would end up corrupting the data I want.

Grindelwald has all the knowledge about prophecies that I need. With it I can determine whether I can wipe out voldemort myself and then leave for the next world as soon as possible or just leave it to Harry.

I turned back to him "last chance".

He had a sinister grin on his face "try it fool".

I shrugged "psiodyne!" Remember those onmyoji spells that resembled persona? They had a few mental attack spells. Grindelwalds projection began screaming as the reinforced door of the library was ripped apart.

Not paying him any mind I entered and began searching for what I needed. I then began employing my own mental powers to make a photocopier. When I found the magical section of his mental library I began tossing books onto the copier.

The machine I crafted from my imagination scanned the books and digitised the date before loading it into a disk. In the mindscape this process took about 11 hours but outside it was three seconds.

I walked back to the machine and removed the disks before storing them in my cloak. I then retreated from the old mans mind back into my own before slotting the disks into a mental computer to download the magical knowledge of Grindewald.

After exiting my mind I looked down at the old man and raised my wand "pimblewimble". I then walked away as the old man sufffered his genitals being twisted like a pretzel as he was petrified.

I locked the door and reinstated the old protections as well as installing a ward that would act as a flash bang should a man with no nose enter the room. So it'll either give voldemort a surprise insight into human weaponry or prove useless.

I left three fortress and went back to the spot where we made camp. The castle was lit ablaze in some areas showcasing Mordred's handiwork. I saw a magical tent pitched in a cave so I entered. I saw a blonde girl in shorts chilling on a beanbag reading some magazines.

She looked up and spoke "did you get it?"

"Legilimens" I just transferred all the data I gathered straight into her mind. "Motherfucker!" She yelled as I gave her a migraine, I transfigured my own beanbag and sat down to begin reviewing my new knowledge.

Three hours later and I opened my eyes sighing, it's a no go on wiping out the snake. We can't finish him off but we can destroy some of his horcrux and followers.

Mordred turned to me with a scoop of ice cream in hand. "So wanna go to Albania and blow up the evil baby?"

It's a better plan than anything else I'd heard today.
