Capítulo 76: Supernatural Encounter
Night~
*Swoosh!
A shadow runs in a swift speed, he jumps from roof to roof of the houses and buidlings. And this shadowy figure seems to be a young man wearing full black outfit consisting of a shirt with hoodies on top, black pants and shoes. Another thing to consider is, he is carrying a two long swords, strapped in his waist.
'System, tell me the distance of my objective!' Kazuya orders
[Affirmative! Host is about 120 meters away from designated target place.]
'Alright but what will I do there...?' He thought back from earlier. He was just watching television with Kurumi earlier when the system suddenly issued a quest, so here he is now.

Meanwhile, a distance away in a secluded place surrounded by trees, a beautiful girl with long black hair and onyx black eyes was surrounded by a group of 5, with 3 being men and 2 being women. These people are unique as they had sharp long nails with 2 fangs sticking out of their mouth. There's also their eyes which shines in scarlet, looking sinister as they stares at the girl.
'What are vampires doing here in Japan...? Aren't they mostly on Europe mainly in Romania. What are their purpose here in Japan?' These thoughts passes through the girl's mind as he stares at her enemies. She held a katana with her right hand and a paper (?) with her left...or is it a talisman?
"Go! Kill her!" The man in the lead orders to his companions which prompted the 4 to lunge towards the girl. The girl in return after seeing them attack, she throws tge talisman in her left hand which floated in front of her at a meter away. Then suddenly a wall of fire appears where the talisman is and surrounds her which acts like a shield.
This halts the momentum of her enemies but it didn't change her situation as it just temporarily halted them. Her mind races as she thought of ideas to do to escape her predicament.
Meanwhile, the leader of the enemies merely smirks as they could just wait for the wall of fire to vanish before killing the girl.
*Swoosh!
But just then, a shadowy figure appears from the woods. This new arrival alerted the group of vampires while the girl didn't know whats happening.
But when the leader saw it was only one person, he sighs in relief. Then he quickly gave orders, "Kill him!"
Without hesitation, the 4 switch targets from the girl to the new arrival. They lunges towards the figure and uses their sharp nails to attack the figure.
*Swish! *Swish!
"Die..." The figure mutters in a cold voice before he unsheathes his two swords strapped in his waist. He then uses one of the swords to block the sharp long nails threathening to cut him.
*Clank!
The clash of the sword and nails creates a sound like metals hitting each other. But this didn't take away the attention of the figure and quickly slashes the 4 enemies with his other sword.
*Slash! *Splurt! *Splash!
The sword cuts through the 4 enemies bisecting then in half. Their upper and lower body separates from each other and plopped off the ground.
*Plop!
The guts and organs of the enemies spilled along with a pool of blood which was formed underneath the 4 enemies. This sight was seen by the leader of the 4, the figure who killed the 4, and the girl whose fire wall dissipated and saw the gory scene.
"Ugh...!" The girl felt nauseous seeing the sight. Meanwhile the figure didn't stop there, he quickly arrives in front of the leader and slashes the man with his sword.
*Slash! *Splash!
The sword cuts off the leaders' head and some blood got on the figures shirt.
"Tch...I need to take a bath again." Kazuya curses under his breath and ignored the syatem notification saying his quest was done and the rewards.
He then notices the beautiful girl at the side who just finished vomiting. Kazuya sheathes his swords again as to not alarm the girl and slowly approches her.
"Hello, nice to meet you...I'm Kinoshita Kazuya. Can you please explain what's the situation here?" Kazuya introduces himself after putting down his hood from his head. "And we should probably get out of here, it's quite dark here with only the moon as lighting." He continues before bringing out his right hand and a flame appears burns the bodies of the enemies. Kazuya controlled the divine fire as to not burn the trees around.
"A-ano...My name's Gogyo Hijiri, nice to meet you Kinoshita-san!" The girl introduces herself before saying, "And thank you for saving me earlier!"
Kazuya waves his hand, "You're welcome but as I said earlier, let's get out of here. And explain to me the situation, okay?"
"Yes!" Hijiri exclaims as she follows Kazuya towards a more lit place. She also didn't ask about the flames earlier but her mind lingers on Kazuya's name. 'Kinoshita...? I think I heard that name from father...'

"Haa...What a night this is..." Kazuya mutters as he prepares to take a shower. He just got back from helping Hijiri earlier and finally knew what happened earlier. "Still...vampires... huh? This world's getting more crazy, first that monstrous school I will go to which I still don't know why I need to transfer there. Then came the martial artists who uses ki and now supernatural creatures like vampires?!"
Vampires...According to Hijiri, what surroynded her was a group of vampires which she accidentally encountered during her night patrol. As for why she's patrolling at night, it seems it's her duty given by her family which by the way are a family of exorcists.
'Sigh...looks like there's more to this world than what I currently know. I wonder though if my strength is enough...well I'll train more just to be sure.' At this thought, Kazuya then took his shower to get off the blood that got on him earlier.
