Capítulo 499: Look Into my Eyes

In the dark alley, somewhere in New York. A gang member was terrified and begging for mercy while his companion was lying flat on the ground.

"I really don't know where the boss is! I am just a small-time thug. I joined the Fifth Street last week! Please, let me go!"

"Look into my eyes!" the unknown figure said with a deep voice.

The thug immediately slumped into the ground like a marionette that has been cut with a chilling scream! He saw an endless fire of hell where he relived every little sin that he has done throughout his life! At the same time, his soul began to burn in agony while his body started to smell like burning flesh.

"Another fallen soul worthy of judgment."

After looking at the smelly corpse, Robbie Reyes was about to leave to find his next prey. But at the same time, a flying web immediately stuck his hand to a wall.

"What happened here? I smelled a crime scene!" Spider-Man said as he swung to the wall. Peter looked at the surroundings and frowned as he saw countless people had fallen to the ground. From the look of it, Peter realized that they were all dead.

"Who are you?" Robbie Reyes said coldly as he burnt the web that stuck his hand to a wall.

"Wow, dude! Your hand is on fire! Are you okay? I am Spider-Man! Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man! I am the man that will stop all types of crime in this city!" Peter said confidently while posing heroically.

"I don't know you!" Robbie said as he immediately lost interest in the weird guy in latex in front of him. He didn't care about anyone else that didn't have any connection with Fifth Street. But as Robbie wanted to walk away, Peter immediately jumped in front of him, blocking Robbie's path.

"You can't go! Don't you realise that you had killed someone? You'll have to come with me to the police station now!" Peter said under his Spider Man's mask. Listening to the innocent word that the Spider-Man had said, Robbie was stunned and burst out laughing.

"I believe that you are a superhero now, Spider-Man! I will remember you, but now I still have something else to do, so please play your superhero game somewhere else!" Robbie said indifferently.

Robbie's words hurt Peter deep down as he already felt like Tony and the other Avengers have already abandoned him. So, Peter immediately kicked Robbie in the chest, proving that he wasn't playing around here.

"You have killed someone here. This is obviously a murder case! I will not let you escape!" Spider-Man said confidently.

Robbie, who has fallen to the ground, immediately stood up again without any injuries and dusted his clothes. He wasn't someone who was fond of explaining himself, so he immediately chose the easiest method that he knew!

Robbie immediately rushed towards the Spider-Man with an intention to body charge him. However, with the Spider Man's ultrahuman reflexes and with the help of his Spider Sense, Spider-Man easily dodged Robbie's charge. Not only that, but as the Spider-Man dodged, he also kicked Robbie's back and also shot some webbings to keep Robbie down.

These webbings were designed by Peter with Tony's help. It was very sticky and extremely resilient. Robbie tried to struggle to break free from the webbing, but it was no use! Peter then immediately dragged the struggling Robbie towards the nearest police station, leaving all the bodies he saw on the scene.

Peter knew that he shouldn't temper around with the crime scene from the many cop drama that he watched. He didn't know for sure whether it was the actual crime situation or not, but at least he brought back the perpetrator! Peter was looking forward to what the headline of tomorrow's newspaper would be. Maybe it was about how Spider-Man captured a ruthless serial killer! That way, Tony would immediately saw his potential once again and assigned him to some big mission!

While he was daydreaming about what his day would be, he suddenly felt his baggage became lighter. Peter immediately looked back and noticed that his webbings were burned! He was sure that this time he used the webbing with a high temperature and fire resistance, but it was burned nonetheless!

"Hey, are you looking for me?" a voice suddenly said behind him, Peter immediately reacted and tried to avoid the incoming punch, but it was too late! Robbie's fist connected with Peter's cheek and sent him flying to a wall!

Peter screamed in pain and immediately stood up again, backing off from Robbie until he was at a safe distance. Peter saw that the man was completely engulfed in fire but didn't chase after him.

"Your game is over, Spider-Man! If you keep chasing after me, you will die!" Robbie said as he immediately entered the sports car nearby and quickly drove away. He was looking for those scum from Fifth Street, and he didn't want to waste his time playing games with a superhero.

And through their dialogue earlier, Robbie knew that the Spider-Man was still a kid but had a big heart. He was a little bit interested as he was drawn to the little spider's innocence!
