Capítulo 12: (12)Im sorry........
Sapphires POV:
I woke up around seven and went downstairs. I cooked breakfast for myself and my sister, then I fed Storm, and ate mine. Ten minutes later I wrote a note saying:
Dear sister,
I love you but I have to leave. I can't bear the rejections, I'm getting even weaker than before. Tell Skylar I love him even though he probably didn't love me. Tell the gang I'm sorry for leaving. I might die but at least I would be at peace right? Please take care of my dear Storm.
Love, Sapphire
With that, I ran outside and to a big meadow. I whistled and heard a loud roar. Ten seconds later Ephinus landed in front of me.
"Now what has my beautiful dragon been up to," I asked and he laughed. "Oh nothing my human just looking for a new shimmer and I might have found one," he said out loud in an excited tone.
"You know it's weird to see you talk, I can hear you but your mouth doesn't move. And what if this mate rejects me too" I said worriedly. "I don't know but let's fly," he said, again, excited. "Fine," I said while hopping onto his back.
About five hours later we found a cave to sleep in.
The next morning when I woke up I felt like something is going to happen. Ephinus is still sound asleep so I start poking him.
He finally woke up and glared at me while I giggled. "Let's go," I said as I hopped onto his back and off we go. I hope I can find a good mate.
'Sapphire come back' i heard a voice say in my head 'who's there' I said back. 'Skylar your mate, come back I want you to be my mate. Please sapphire' he pleaded.
He wants me! 'I can't but you could meet me at dead man's drop?' i answered 'ok, see you there my love' he said then cut the link.
I sigh and begin to daydream. Maybe one day ill get a mate to stick by my side. I hope Skylar is being truthful, it would probably kill me if he rejected me.
1 hour later:
We finally landed in a field near-dead man's drop. I jumped off of Ephinus' back and magically took off his saddle and reins.
I hope Skylar comes soon! My heart is already aching from being away from him for this long. I turn around and look out towards the sunset. I saw a flash of something before I was pushed into a tree with someone kissing me.
What the heck!?!
