Before thinking whether to read the novel or not just read the first chapter on author thought. The storyline and plot is surprisingly detailed and the author managed to write a story where the world doesn't revolve around MC but it's not a multiple POV type story. (Good for me) All major encounters with other characters are logical and they don't just pop out of nowhere just because the plot demands it...they are always given a little background which makes them alive and believable.... except MC's mother side of family. but I guess that will be revealed later. Side characters appear and leave logically and not because of random plot. The story has 2-3 cliche parts but the execution and results are very different from the normal...(*spoiler- there is tournaments and mc finding rare spirit beast and a young master goes after the MC for he talked to his supposed wife/girl...but in a totally different way*) Otherwise this story is kingdom building in a poor abandoned land...mc has his OP inheritance but doesn't use hack techniques to improve his land but simply expensive very scarce resources which any normal lord will spend only on himself. In short the kingdom building is realistic too, compared to other novels where mc is either reincarnation from future or from earth... Another thing in novel you will find interesting is the cultivation system and the structure of cultivation world in general. the difference between different states of cultivation is not insurmountable and those in the same stages is even more so... atleast in the starting and mid stages...this makes it interesting as just having higher cultivation doesn't mean sure victory..it comes down to how good their techniques are and thier teamwork.... This is refreshing after reading so many one man army MCs... The world-building in general is great the noble families, the commoners they act differently than the stereotype established in other novels...like nobles are oppressive and common men are miserable and only the mc saves them and they will grateful to eternity. well that's it ..I ranted a lot .... author keep up the good work, I generally don't start reading new novels unless they have 300+ chapters coz this site has given me many heartbreaks but I changed my mind after reading your first chapter so don't you dare disappoint me by dropping it.
In my opinion one of the best novels I've read on this site so far. Writing quality: apart from some very rare and minor mistakes, the writing is great, especially considering English is not the author's first language Story updates: very regular updates, generally with 2 chapters per day, but as a greedy reader it can never be enough :) Story development:I find the story in general is very well planned out and with a good progression. Main character, while stronger than others at the same level, is not instantly OP. Kingdom building is also very nicely done in a believable way. Something I'm very happy about is also that the characters don't have 1000 skills which make everything really confusing like in other novels, making fight scenes much more engaging. The main reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the somewhat slow pace more apparent during one ark of the story (Between chapters 200-400 if I remember correctly), manly due to "information dumps" placed often in the middle of conversations (need to say though that much of this information becomes relevant afterwards so it is indeed needed, and the story still remained very interesting). Fortunately after that the pace starts picking up and is very enjoyable afterwards, not too slow but also not chaotic. Character design: characters are well designed and they act according to their personalities. There is also interesting character growth for some characters. World background: also nicely done, with distinct regional powers and interactions between them. Looking forward to how the Black Plains start interacting with the rest of the world. As for other novels I would be very happy if a there was a map available. In general I highly recommend this novel.
It's quite the novel. It has it's good moments, the bad moments and the ugly moments(his lovers die). Overall, decent progress. I've just gotta ask about the recent chapters, did he wash his hands off his other lovers? Ruth's sister came by and there was no mention of a reconnection. Isn't that... Unfair?

You should definitely read this novel if you love kingdom-building novels, almost no grammatical mistakes and a great plot. Easily one of the best novels I've ever read.

after reading for sometime i can say that this novel is gold but it has it's fair share of problems for one thing in every chapter that I've read you seam to have a fetish for the Word "the young" since you put it in every instance Were the mc is or using it to describe a young person it's gets very annoying at some point you really should tone it down a notch other than that I've been enjoying reading your novel. you still got to tone it down With the Word "The Young" I don't know Why you have to describe Minos as "the young" him being young doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of the story cause eventually you'll have to stop using the Word "the young" since Minos Wont stay young forever

didn't read chapter 1 entirely but I'm wondering, does the MC become stronger than Goku, Anos, Rimuru at the end? this novel seems to be at least 3 years old.
It's a very well-written story that is entertaining, that continually develops a larger and larger world, and the characters are generally displayed as actual people instead of one-dimensional stereotypes. If I had to nitpick, I'd say that although I'm 600 chapters in, and there have been struggles and problems to be overcome (unlike what you'd see in a boring wish-fulfillment webnovel), things haven't been all THAT challenging for the MC, and coincidence can lean his way pretty heavily for things to go right sometimes. It's still a good book and well worth reading. A pet peeve I've had with this book is that the s*x scenes serve literally no purpose whatsoever. There's no plot or exposition, they don't serve to move the story along, and despite how much prowess in bed the MC supposedly has, they're utterly boring. Literally every scene so far involves the MC lying on his back, with the girl in the 69 position or cowgirl position. In the case of when he's with two girls, one is in cowgirl, the other is sitting on him. I don't know if he's lazy, a sub, or what, but despite claims to how good he is in bed, he doesn't actually do anything. It would be better to not have those scenes than to just basically copy/paste over and over again.

Hope the MC will achieve immortality in the end cuz all his efforts are useless of he won't even achieve that xD welp just Don't have a same ending like the "Ancient Strengthening Technique" though i hate comparing Other Novels welp cant help it if you see a good novel lol.. .. 🤣🤣🤣 No offence jut my Opinion lol. .. .
Excellent story Great character development Epic world building Full of action and adventure No moralizing which is become a plus here lately The main character is smart decisive ruthless, calculating scheming and more than a bit vengeful towards his enemies I really enjoyed this book series Great for fans of adventure fantasy
1400...too many of his people are dying...whats even the point in him becoming powerful when he cant protect anyone at all? This novel is becoming a disappointmen
bro, simply what a wonderful story, the protagonist is the construction of the empire of the black bar, simply my favorite novel, I really ask that the author keeps Minos Stuart being a king and in the future creating a kingdom in the "upper kingdom, I would say that it is the best novel I've ever read, the only one that managed to make me sad with the death of some characters (2182 incredible and cruel author).

I'm on chapter 180 and the truth is that it has been a pretty good story, more because of the theme of building a kingdom, but there are some things (personally) I know that some readers like me will hesitate to read, first the casual relationships, this didn't bother me after a while, because that's it, casual,But as long as it lasts, some will not like it, I even think they will not read the novel after what I say, there is Yuri. Yes, I know that it doesn't bother some but it does for many,Especially with the harem stories, I'm debating with myself whether to continue or not, apparently after chapter 154 the author became interested in the Yuri topic and went for even more but hey,Otherwise it is a pretty good story, it offers what it promises, removing the two points of course (personal opinion)

It a really story and follows a not so simple plot. I’m currently at chapter hundred and my only problem with the story rn is the combat. So far the combat takes is purely based on level and technique grade which all the combat bland and unexciting.
La novela es una de las mejores que he leído, con personajes muy diversos y con varios puntos de vista y para mí las relaciones entre los personajes se sienten orgánicas, además de que no clichés como el del joven maestro, subestimación del personaje, o imposibilidad de cultivar al principio y tampoco se demoran tanto en tener sexo como en otras novelas que solo lo hacen al final de la novela, o que ni siquiera se sabe si lo hicieron o no al contrario está novela si lo hace pero las escenas echi son tan pocas que no se siente como cumplimiento de deseos pero si aporta frescura a la historias en fin fácil top 5 novelas para mi , única en su clase desearía que ubiera novelas similares El único pero que le encuentro es que no está en español y al traducirla con el traductor de Chrome algunas palabras dejan de tener sentido
A fun cultivation story with just the right of adventuring to city-building. The protagonist is smart and mature, carefully navigating his unstable political situation. It is fun to read how he schemes and wiggles around all the troubles that come his way. My only real complaints is that the cultivation system could have been deeper, and the writing quality could be improved (author tends to over-explain everything...)
it was best till author decided to discard his lovers ones who have decided to be completely loyal to him.can't bring myself to continue the story trully sad.
Really good quality up to chp 287, the world building is also top notch, the characters are well developed, no brainless harem so far. If you like kingdom building and cultivation this is the stuff. Would like some better fighting scenes, they are mid quality, but it is not a major hangup
(chp100) what can I say, no cringe, no clichés and the power grading system is so good, kingdom building is great and you should give it a try.
Good story but also disappointed because more enemy show up in front of the MC with his low lovel, and also about medicin herbs as it were useless even saint medicin are rare atlest it can rise 2 level or 1 without side effect below lvl 80, because its already rare medicine the same at divine medicine can rise 3 to 4 lvl below 89 to 80 and it can rise more below 70 and 1 to 2 lvl below 99 to 90 because it's already most rare and instincts divine medicine who can reach lvl 100 when consume it, not only the body but also the lvl that can rise lvl.✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️
Hey I'm really digging the start of this novel and I want to keep going with it. But I'm curious if the main character comes off as a bit of a simp in the future? Like the plot is cool and all but I'm not really a fan of novels where the MC is a simp ya feel me? So if anyone knows could you give me a heads up? Thanks!

The beginning didn't look very good, but I found the cultivation system quite interesting so I gave it a go, and although it has its ups and downs it really is a good read, its world development is really something remarkable, few manage to develop such a world without seeming tedious, although at times it really has a lot of filler I think the author was trying to buy time to organize the next steps so this is fine.
Overall, this novel is decent but there are a few issues. First is, the author explains too much. There's too much explanation about some new building and how it works. Some are unnecessary and some can be said as it is. Second, the fact that the MC dealt with no issues with the citizens apart from the fact that they're too weak is unrealistic. People get jobs and suddenly, they're happy and no problems occurred afterwards. In every place, there are always problematic people. Drunkards for example. There were even no mention of thievery in Dry City, as if everyone just turned obedient conveniently for the MC. Even if every single one of them got jobs, some habits, while they can be dealt with, they don't die easily. Mass migration from people of different places should have introduced some problems but for some reason, they were obedient. Also, the fact that people from other places could successfully migrate to the Black Plain without leaving any traces is also quite unrealistic. If it's the soldiers, then there would be no issues but civilians are hard to control, especially when they weren't yours or when the cultures are different. There is also the lack of skepticism. Although the author tried to explain this part, the fact that the whole population of a city just disappears and migrates to the Black Plain is quite unrealistic. No one stayed behind, especially the old people, who are (not all) supposed to be the most stubborn and difficult to persuade. I'm still currently on chap 371 so the author might have already addressed these on the not so recent chapters but even if he still hasn't, I hope the author reads this for improvement. Overall, this novel is, as I said, decent and full of potential.
I'll start by saying that the writing quality is very good. But it's 99.9% conversation filler. One person can say something, and the response wouldn't come till after 8 paragraphs of partially or unrelated info. By the time you get to the response, you forget what you were waiting to hear. Also feels like the author doesn't like their Mc when you can go 5+ chapters or more without a word from them due to a convo between two random citizens talking about a new building.

In this little review, I want to talk about the 5 points you can find when making your own review. But before that, I want to say that originally the novel will be divided into volumes, which should reach the mark of 8-10 volumes at the end. Anyway, let's get down to business. Writing quality: English is not my first language, so there will certainly be some mistakes, but I will endeavor to improve this whenever possible. Therefore, I thank you in advance for any correction indicated. Update stability: Although I have my own activities, which can prevent me from writing daily, but I have an abundance of chapters ready. So, I can guarantee that, at least in the coming months, there will be at least one chapter being released each day. As for a higher release rate or extra chapters, this will depend on the votes received by the novel. Story development: There are major and minor plots in the story that will be developed little by little. The speed of progression can be quite varied, in some points it will be a little slower and in others it will be faster. This depends on the importance of each part to the overall story. Character design: For certain reasons, the protagonist will be very intelligent from the beginning of the story. But he is still a person who needs help and who has room for improvement. There will also be some problems so that the character has a certain space to mature, so you can expect some changes to happen... World background: You can expect a lot of information from this world that the MC is in. Whenever I'm writing, I try to make it clear in the text what situation the protagonist is in. Where is he?
