An unknown amount of time has passed, and Lumas' soul has been greedily devouring the energy present in the well, next to him was a small tree-like being with black beady eyes poking and prodding at various parts of Lumas' body. Seemingly fed up with waiting the being smacked, Lumas with all the strength…
Lumas skin slightly deformed at contact causing the tree-like being to stop its feet in frustration before plopping down on top of Lumas, when the being saw Lumas' eyes open he scurried up to his face grabbing onto Lumas' cheek as the it stared into Lumas' eyes
Lumas felt as if a connection between the two was made right before a childish voice broke into his mind
'Finally your awake, who are you to make the great me wait… Huh? HUH? IM WAITING FOR YOUR ANSWER'
Not getting a chance to reply the small being went on and on not allowing Lumas a chance to think, after a few minutes Lumas gave up trying and grabbed the small tree-like being
'UNHAND ME FOUL BEAST'
'No… Can you just shut up?'
The tree-like beings mouth went agape as his eyes spread wide as he worked out of Lumas' grip he furiously spoke
'You, you, you, YOU DARE LAY YOUR FILTHY PAWS ON ME MONGREL?!'
Lumas could barely hold back a laugh as a bit of air burst past his lips, Lumas went red in the face attempting to hold it in before letting it all go collapsing in the ground nearly in tears as he clutched his stomach
The small being could only watch in anger as Lumas laughed
'Ahem…'
Ending his laughing fit Lumas got serious as a small greenish-black/ orangish-red flame danced upon his finger, bringing it closer to the being Lumas seriously spoke
"Take me back…"
'Nah, why would I listen to a lowly insect such as yourself?'
Cutely tilting its head the being stared at Lumas
"I need to leave..."
Rapidly shaking its head the being spoke
'Nope'
"I'll burn you alive if you don't take me"
'Pffft, with what?'
"This flam-" Lumas looked down to find his flame snuffed out, he knew he didn't cut the flow of mana so… looking back to the tree-like being who had a smug smile Lumas pleaded
"Come on just take me back, I got people waiting for me and their probably worried sick right about now"
'Not my problem'
Grabbing the small being and bringing it close to his face Lumas opened his mouth
"I'll eat you…"
This caused the tree-like being to freeze as it waved its hands
'Come on now no reason to take it that far, I can handle your filthy hands touching me but your being in your stomach?'
The small being shuddered in his hand
'Are there a lot of your filthy kin?'
Lumas nodded as he looked around
"Where are we?"
'Hmm? The origin why?'
"What?"
'The center of all creation, I'm the keeper, well I was you stole my job title…'

Seemingly unaffected Root spoke while checking his fingernails 'I'm not the Keeper anymore, I can't affect the space to such a degree in the origin anymore'

Slowly a rip in space formed infront of Lumas, on the other side he could see an endless gulf of nothingness, stepping through he was welcomed with darkness

As Lumas woke up, he hurriedly looked around finding himself in familiar woods… When he first woke up this was were he was, he could feel a trace of dense magic swirling around in the area as if trapped, the mana itself felt connected to him. Looking closer he found small runes imbedded into the tree each one was something he was ever so slightly familiar with, there were similar to his enchanting but yet gave him the feeling his 'Magic Bestowel' emits
Lumas became invested in this area, everything present was over saturated with mana to the degree that they should have began to go under a transformation, but yet they haven't… with a short chuckle rising from his throat he remembered the time he sat in front of a vein of ore inspecting it just like he is doing with the mana…
Making his way to a standing position, Lumas looked around finding himself in a valley. Heaving a sigh Lumas looked into the distance seeing a faded object piercing the clouds, and just like that he found his destination.

The expedition hurriedly returned to the surface to report the damage done to the dungeon, first you have an Elven mythological tree sprouting out of nowhere and now there is a gulf in the dungeon as deep as the dungeon itself, Finn, Riveria, Tsubaki, and a guild employee were currently sitting in a sealed room going over the report
"Yes, the dungeon has changed, it made no attempts at repairing the damage done to it. On our way back up the number of monsters dwindled to record lows, From a hurried inspection the scar was 20 meters wide… we couldn't get an accurate depiction of its length or depth"
The guild employee sighed as he looked towards Riveria and Tsubaki "Anything else?"
Riveria nodded "The mana present around the scar is turbulent and chaotic in nature, I would recommend that lower levels keep their distance as their bodies may not be able to handle the pressure given off"
Tsubaki quickly chimed in "Despite how it looks this could end up having a few positives… with the increase of mana present the ores and herbs may become saturated increasing their quality or…"
As if having an enlightenment Riveria muttered "They may evolve into something else entirely…"
Tsubaki nodded as she returned her gaze to the Guild Employee "Hephaestus Familia alongside Loki Familia are offering a reward for anyone that is able to find Lumas, he may be in the dungeon still or somewhere else…"
Finn stood up pulling a quest paper from a bag "The reward listed is as follows, Two hundred thousand Valis, A speciality made item from the captain of Hephaestus Familia; Tsubaki Collbrande, and a meeting with two gods… Hephaestus and Loki themselves"
The guild employee rapidly nodded as he took the quest paper and scurryed out of the room
