Capítulo 120: Jealous Child

Sera's POV

After we enjoyed our dinner, our other staff decided to have karaoke. However, since I still wanted to unpack my things, I decided to leave early. To my surprise, Xu Je'er insisted on driving me to my new residence. "Why?" I asked.

"Just to avoid pests."

"Pests?" I didn't understand why she would want to come out of the restaurant with me.

"Feng Xiaotan."

"Hm?"

"He wanted to pay the bill earlier. I decline."

"Why?" I asked. "If he loves paying, then let him pay."

She snickered. "Two reasons. First, I don't want you to avoid paying. Second, he would think he is welcome to be our friends. He is not."

"Why do you hate him so much?"

"Well, don't you hate him?" she asked.

"Of course not." In fact, I don't feel anything towards him. "I won't waste my hate to someone I don't even know." Right. Why would I hate some random stranger? Isn't that a waste of my emotion?
