He has planned to finish the guy quickly but he noticed that there is undulating energy in the man's body.

He was immediately alarmed and decided to lay an ambush for the guy.

As Xin Wei waited seconds turn into minutes in just a blink and soon, Xin Wei found that his surrounding seems to have turned silent.

"This is bad…" he thought as he knew that something is amiss.

Without hesitation, Xin Wei quickly shifted his gaze to the other end of the corridor, and true to his suspicion… he saw a shadow lurking in the darkness.

"Damn… this guy is crafty…" he muttered.

Xin Wei has fought many battles but these battles are mostly frontal confrontations. Now that he is fighting in the darkness and that his enemy is actually a mystique user, it made him feel anxious but excited at the same time.
