When the burly prisoner was about to come close to Xin Wei, Doctor Ling seems to have gritted his teeth and suddenly stands between Xin Wei and the guy.

"Don Lucas… I don't know what this fellow did… but on my account, please let him go… For old times' sake…" Doctor Ling said while gritting his teeth.

His expression turned a bit solemn as he lowered his head.

Upon seeing this reaction from the famed doctor in the prison, Don Lucas frowned and gestured for his man to stand down.

"You should count yourself lucky, punk…" the burly man said as he glares at Xin Wei then walked towards Don Lucas who has already turned his back and walked towards the door.

Xin Wei did not bother with them and just watches the operation which was done in no time.

They were able to take out at least 5 packets of those gems which made Xin Wei's expression change a bit.
