He is afraid of the darkness even though he is able to see in it.

At that time, his father took him hunting, but they met an accident in which his father suddenly collapse. After that, he was enveloped by darkness which made him truly feel afraid. Then he saw right before his eyes, a shadow forming into a strange figure and then taking his father away.

Since then, he is always afraid of the darkness… but is just trying to hide it.
