Capítulo 101: An Invisible Wall

Eden felt weird seeing Jonah again after coming to his defense for no reason in the bathroom. He had been quiet all evening, speaking no more than was necessary as others spoke to him or to participate in solving the puzzles. 

She hadn't realized that was what he was doing until they made it to the ice cream place and he was completely silent. He ate his ice cream without contributing to the conversation around him. 

She noticed what he ordered. White chocolate raspberry, which he previously said was his favorite. It seemed that her guess about most of their conversations not being based on lies had been correct. 

He was part of the group but barely. It was as if he was separated from the others by an invisible wall. Were things always like this for him? Was it because of shallow people like Brianna?
