Capítulo 16: Chapter 13: Engagement!!
"Two more days until the ranking exams, and you two still can't use any other magic techniques than the ones Neŕo taught you. Useless! You guys are going to lose. I hope I'm not placed on the same team as you two." "Thánatos don't say that brother, unlike us these two are new to magic so don't rush them," Zoi said.
"If you say so sister, anyways imma be out for awhile." "Where are you going?" Zoi asked. "I'm going on a date," Thánatos replied .
"So you rather go out on a date than train us?" Elizabeth asked. "Not really," Thánatos replied.
**A FEW HOURS LATER**
She told me to meet her at the park but she isn't here as yet. I might as well go back home. Thánatos walks over to his car. "Thánatos wait!" Someone shouted, he turns around.
"Alice, I thought that you weren't going to come so I was going to head back home." "I'm sorry, my father insist that I carry a bodyguard with me," Alice replied. "It's ok, by the way where are you taking me today?" Thánatos asked. Alice grabs ahold of his hand and says, "that's a surprise, let's get going."
A few minutes later.
"What is this place?" Thánatos asked. "This is an aquarium." "Wow," thánatos said. "This is my first time visiting an aquarium. Thanks Alice, for showing me all this." "I'm happy that I could bring you here," Alice replied.
Alice saw a photobooth and says, "let's take some pictures together, over there." "Ok," Thánatos replied. "Say cheese," Alice said. "Cheese!"
After two hours of fun activities, Thánatos finally got hungry. "I'm starving, Alice, we should get something to eat before I die." Alice chuckles, "we can go over there." Alice points to a café. The two went inside, meanwhile, Sebastian stood outside guarding the café, a waitress walks over toward Thánatos and asked, "have you two decided on what you'll be having?" "I'll have what she's having," Thánatos replied. "And what will you be having, my lady?" The waitress asked. "I want everything on the menu," Alice said. "And bring something to that man standing outside." "I'll be back in a minute," the waitress said.
"Are you sure you can eat all that food you just ordered? Thánatos asked. "No I'm not Alice chuckled. "But I bet you can," she said. "Why do you think that?" Thánatos asked. "Because strong men eat a lot," Alice replied. "And why do you think that?" Thánatos asked. "Because that's what my father said," Alice replied. "By the way, Thánatos, I have something really important to tell you." "What is it?" Thánatos asked. "I told my father about us dating and he said that we can't date each other unless we're engaged." "So you want me to propose to you?" Thánatos asked. "Yes," Alice replied. Thánatos lets out a sigh and says, "I might as well go along with it for now, but only cause I'm bored."
The waitress walks back over to the table, "here's your food," she said. Thánatos licks his lips and says, "let's dig in." It only took thánatos five minutes to eat everything that was on the table. That was enough food to feed a family of 30 for a week. "You're amazing," Alice said. Thánatos chuckles then looks at his watch, "oh no," he then said. "What is it?" Alice asked. "I promise my sister that I would be back by 6PM." "It's ok, we can head back home. Today was really great," Alice said she leans over and kiss Thánatos on his lips. "Sebastian take me home." "Yes lady Alice," Sebastian replied.
Thánatos got into his car and drove back home.
"I'm home," he said. "Welcome back brother." "Where are the others?" he asked. "They went out for awhile. So tell me brother, what did you do today?" "The usual," Thánatos replied. "Anyways I'm going to bed so goodnight."
