Capítulo 226: The truth

"Where are you going?" She asked over the phone when she called him to invite him for lunch. She was getting bored staying inside the house all day, waiting for her twins to pop out.

The doctors advise that she did not do any strenuous activities because it might harm the babies. All she had been doing around the house was to sit and laze around. It was beginning to become boring.

"I need to drop by at Uncle Jorge's house this afternoon. What about a snack? I'll go straight home after I have talked to Uncle Jorge." He told her over the line.

He hated disappointing Sabrina, especially knowing what she was going through. But he had an important business to discuss with Uncle Jorge, and it could not wait.

He would make it a point to make it up to her when he came home. He could stop by her favorite bakeshop to buy her new favorite cake. That should do the trick, he thought.
