"What was the reason for the accident?" Ryan asked.

Ryan felt like it might be him. He might be the reason that she went through something traumatic enough for her not to touch the steering wheel again. He was worried and wanted it to be a false intuition. He had to wait a few seconds before the driver would finally talk.

"She... she was returning from Fairbanks. The doctor said the reason for the accident was the lack of rest," the driver's side. 

"She was returning from Fairbanks? Alone?" Ryan couldn't help but feel panicked. It's definitely not a brilliant idea to drive alone to Fairbanks.
