Capítulo 418: The Fiancee

"Gentleman, I would like you to meet my fiance." The princess took Samuel's outstretched hand without thinking much about it. She was one second too slow; however, in hiding the way, her eyes widened when the other pulled closer and into his lap. His hands wrapped around her waist as his legs shifted under her to accommodate her petite size. 

If the place and setting were different, Lena would have driven an elbow roughly into Samuel's abdomen and pried herself away from the other for the audacity of thinking he could get away with such things. However, the princess didn't get as far as she was by being a fool. This play was calculated on the side of her fiance. A play she would have to give him a fair amount of credit for despite his lack of experience in their world. For that, she could allow him his moment without giving up too much of her own power.
